As the second round drew to a close, Seido Takashi of the Second Division entered. He possessed the distinctive magic of the White Arrows and wielded a scythe. As the Second Division's most distinguished member, he represented the discipline and rigor of his unit.
On the opposite side stood Sam Hokamo of the Fourth Division, known as the "Desert Engineer." He carried a small magic jar at his waist, and around him, golden sands swirled, moving like living creatures under the influence of "Still Sand Magic."
Speaker: "The fourteenth match! Seido's magic and scythe against Sam's moving sands! Can the sand break the blade, or will the blade cut through the storm?"
Rindo: Liria Maraki, isn't this match interesting?
Liria Kawasaki, Captain of the Fourth Division: You're right, Rindo. They're developing tremendously, and it's fantastic.
On the royal platforms, the heads of the families watched the matches. Zora Watro: It seems your daughter is doing a great job, Yatakumi. The second division has improved.
Togashi: Zora, you're planning something, aren't you?
Zora: I'm not planning anything. I've found a boy I want to bring into my family. (He looks towards Ivan.)
Hailey: That's not like you, Zora. Who is it?
Zora: He's sitting over there with the Yahiko idiots.
Hailey looks up and says: There are two of them. Which one are you talking about?
Zora: Not the Hansaki family idiot, but the boy with the Phoenix power.
Hailey: His name is Ivan. That's what I've heard.
Zora: That's right. He's a boy with an indomitable will. I gave him a test attack, and I saw a very unusual reaction. It's a monster instinct growing at an incredible rate.
Zerf: But he won't surpass Kono. Zora: You're wrong, Yazeref. He'll surpass them, I'm sure of it. To be honest, I have no hope with that foolish son I have. That's why I want the boy to inherit my family.
Togashi looks at Ivan and thinks to himself: Zora is right. He's a monster who grows and evolves at an incredible speed, and what a calm demeanor he possesses.
Meanwhile, Ivan is thinking about how to find the other half of the Phoenix.
Ivan: It seems someone has discovered I'm from the Muto clan. I must prepare for that.
The Battle Begins: Dune Defense
Seido launched a sweeping attack, using the length of his scythe to deliver a powerful headbutt, accompanied by potent magic arrows.
Seido: "Cutting Art: Crescent Moon!"
But Sam didn't move; with a flick of his hand, the sand rose from the jar to form a spherical shield as hard as steel. The scythe struck the sand with a tremendous crash, but the sand absorbed the force of the blow completely.
Sam (calmly): "In the desert, brute force always drowns." Quickly, the sand shifted from defense to offense, attempting to wrap around Seido's feet to pin him down.
Climax: The Sandstorm and the Invisible Cut
Realizing that the sand reacts to air movement, Seido began spinning his scythe at breakneck speed, his magic arrows creating a swirling, reflective air current.
Seido: "Ultimate Speed: Steel Tornado!"
Seido created a breach in the sand wall and surged through it like lightning. Before Sam could reshape his shield, Seido had already landed a swift thrust that pierced Sam's magic jar, disrupting the flow of sand.
The End: The Blade's Decision
With Sam's control over his sand faltering, Seido seized the opportunity and delivered a scythe-bladed blow to the back of Sam's neck, knocking him off balance and sending him tumbling to the ground. Seido then swung his blade majestically towards Sam's chest to the cheers of the crowd.
Seido: "Your sand is strong, but your heart faltered for a moment."
Spokesperson: "What a technically brilliant fight! The winner is Seido Takashi of the Second Division!"
Everyone applauded enthusiastically, and at that moment, a devastating and powerful aura erupted, felt by all.
Evan: "Two incredibly powerful auras approaching each other. What an incredible level of skill!" Emperor: What's happening on the western border?
On the western border between the Kingdom of Union and the Kingdom of Nedora,
a Holy Hero stood alone against four mysterious figures.
The Mysterious Figure: You continue on the path to take the Black Wizard to the headquarters.

End - The Last Glimmer of Hope
Entrance to the Arena: Rayon Nisse vs. Karen Konsuke
The audience held its breath as the final showdown of the first round was announced. Rayon Nisse of the Fifth Division entered, wielding "Shadow and Wind Magic." She moved with agility, as if her body merged with the shadows of the arena pillars, carrying a large metal spear which she used as both a shield and a weapon.
On the opposite side appeared Karen Konsuke of the Seventh Division, using White Meteor Magic and possessing the spirit of the White Bird, the Meteor Eagle (Desi).
Evan: The White Meteor Eagle. It's in the early stages of evolution. Speaker: "The fifteenth and final showdown! The speed of a shooting star versus the cunning of shadows! Who will emerge victorious?"
Opening: Lightning Strike
Rayon shot forth like a purple arrow, leaving behind a sound like a stifling breeze.
Rayon: "Shadows Magic: The Cutting Flash!"
Rayon vanished and reappeared directly behind Karen, but Karen was ready. She opened her metal fan and unleashed a wave of shooting star magic around her, deflecting Rayyon's spear at the last possible second.
Karen (with a confident smile): Incredible power, but... it's not enough.
Climax: Energy Explosion
The fight intensified, the arena becoming a patchwork of white shooting star and purple shadows. Rayyon decided to finish it off by focusing all her energy into a single strike. She leaped high into the air, gathering wind and shadows around her body until she resembled a human tornado.
Rayon: "The Ultimate Technique: The Shadow King Falls!" Rayon landed with tremendous force on Karin, who summoned the White Meteor Eagle. In a surprising twist, the two attacks collided, creating a blinding flash of light for a few seconds.
The End: Another tie.
When the dust settled, both Rayon and Karin were seen unconscious.
Everyone was stunned by what had happened.
Announcer: Another tie. Despite the beauty of the battle, unfortunately, they will not qualify.
Everyone applauded enthusiastically for the final showdown, which demonstrated the incredible development of the nine teams.
