Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Broly's Power Goes Berserk

### Chapter 3: Broly's Power Goes Berserk

His younger self was indeed arrogant, but that was purely a zealous pursuit of martial arts!

"Sowing wild oats"?

Utter nonsense!

"Brother, where did your mind wander to?! I found this child in the back mountain three months ago..."

He sighed helplessly and briefly recounted the events of finding Kouki.

"Oh... so that's what happened."

Bomb came to a realization. The teasing look on his face faded, replaced by curiosity.

He extended a finger covered in calluses and carefully poked Kouki's tender cheek, trying to tease the little guy.

However, Kouki just looked at him with clear, large eyes, completely unmoved, and ignored him entirely.

"..."

Bomb's finger froze in mid-air, and an awkward silence filled the room.

"Alright, Kouki, go play by yourself for a while."

Bang saw his brother's embarrassment and smiled to smooth things over, also wanting to have a proper chat with his long-absent brother.

He gently placed Kouki on the ground.

Kouki immediately let out a "hup" and started moving his chubby little legs. Like a wobbling but determined little penguin, he ran towards the door with surprising speed, *patter-patter-patter*.

Bomb's eyes nearly popped out. He pointed at the small figure, his voice cracking: "You... you said how old he was again?!"

"Three months old," Bang replied as if it were obvious.

"Three months?! Running around?!"

Bomb felt his common sense taking an unprecedented hit; his jaw nearly hit his feet.

This wasn't just precocious; it was ridiculous opening the door for ridiculousness—ridiculous all the way home!

"Hahaha!" Bang laughed heartily at his brother's "seeing a ghost" expression. "Don't make a fuss, brother. This child... isn't an ordinary human."

"Not ordinary?" Bomb's curiosity was completely piqued.

"Mm," Bang's smile faded, his expression becoming grave as he lowered his voice. "He... has a tail. And, I can feel a terrifying, unimaginable power dormant within his small body. This power... is constantly expanding as he grows."

He paused, a look of deep worry flashing in his eyes. "I'm worried... if one day he can't control this power, I'm afraid... it will bring unimaginable disaster to the whole world."

In front of his closest brother, Bang finally let down his guard and voiced the worry that had been haunting him day and night for the past few months.

The aura of power that Kouki occasionally released unconsciously made even a martial arts grandmaster like him feel his heart race.

"Hiss..."

Bomb sucked in a breath of cold air, his brows furrowing tightly.

He understood this worry all too well.

Wasn't his younger brother Bang, who was arrogant and conceited in his youth, obsessed with the destructive power of the "Exploding Heart Release Fist," challenging and injuring people everywhere, almost uncontrollable, the best negative example?

Once a child born with such terrifying power loses control, who can stop him?

The consequences... he dared not think too deeply about them.

"How about..."

Bomb pondered for a moment and was about to make a suggestion.

"Brother!" Bang suddenly interrupted him, his gaze instantly becoming sharp as a knife, filled with an unquestionable protectiveness. "He is my grandson! I absolutely will not allow anyone to harm him!"

His stance was like a tiger protecting its cub.

"Huh?" Bomb was stunned by his brother's sudden fierce reaction, then realized what he meant. He slapped Bang's shoulder, laughing and crying at the same time. "You idiot! What are you thinking?! How could I possibly harm such a small child!"

He shook his head helplessly. "I meant, since he can't control the power, teach him the method to control power! Start now!"

"Teach him?" Bang was somewhat confused.

"Exactly!" Bomb nodded vigorously, eyes shining with wisdom. "Your 'Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist' emphasizes balance and peace, conquering rigidity with softness, and neutralizing force invisibly. Isn't it an excellent method for guiding and controlling power? Using it to guide the power within this child couldn't be more appropriate!"

Bang's eyes instantly lit up, like clouds parting to reveal the sun!

"So that's it! I understand, brother!"

The problem that had troubled him for days seemed to have found a key, and his heart suddenly felt clear.

However, just a second after the brothers reached a consensus—

*BOOM!!!*

An indescribable terrifying power, seemingly from the primeval era, erupted without warning deep within the dojo.

In an instant, a visible violent shockwave, like an out-of-control hurricane or tsunami, swept in all directions with crushing force!

The floor beneath their feet cracked and shattered inch by inch!

Sturdy beams groaned under the immense pressure, and walls, doors, and windows were torn and pulverized like paper.

Violent energy surged wave after wave, forming devastating impact rings that spread frantically outward, kicking up dust and debris that filled the sky. The blinding light made it impossible to open one's eyes.

The entire dojo seemed to have been thrown into a furnace of violent energy.

Even the sky seemed to twist and change color under this power.

"Kouki—!!!"

Bang's face changed drastically, his heart sinking heavily.

This familiar yet strange violent aura—who else could it be but Kouki?!

Without any hesitation, Bang's figure instantly turned into a blurred afterimage, tearing through the violent airflow and shooting toward the core of the energy explosion—the training ground!

Bomb's reaction was equally fast to the extreme, following closely behind. The two brothers were like two bolts of lightning moving against the current.

When they rushed into the training ground, they saw a scene of apocalyptic ruin.

The disciples of the dojo were like fallen leaves in a gale, blown helter-skelter by the terrifying shockwave, screaming in agony. Many were already foaming at the mouth and unconscious on the ground.

And in the center of that destructive storm, little Kouki floated in mid-air, his eyes red as blood, completely devoid of the light of reason.

His tiny body seemed to have turned into an out-of-control energy furnace. Surges of visible, heart-palpitating golden-green aura spewed, erupted, and raged violently!

The pressure formed by that power made even the strong brothers, Bang and Bomb, feel their scalps tingle and their breath catch.

"Power out of control! What happened?!"

Bang instantly assessed the situation. Kouki's blood-red eyes were the most obvious sign—berserk power had completely swallowed his reason.

"Ma... Master! It's... it's this disciple's fault!" A disciple clutching his caved-in chest, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, struggled to crawl over, his face full of terror and regret. "I... my hand slipped for a moment, I was curious about his tail... so... so I grabbed it... and then he... became like this..."

"Tail?!"

Bang's heart jolted, but now was absolutely not the time to assign blame!

"Kouki! Calm down!"

Bang shouted in a low voice, his figure disappearing again, instantly appearing in front of the berserk Kouki, attempting to calm him.

However, what responded to him was a tender yet terrifyingly horrific fist wrapped in destructive energy.

The air was compressed, emitting a piercing sonic boom!
