Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Bible sat in the plane, staring out the window as the landscape below grew farther and farther away. He couldn't believe he was leaving his life in the States behind, even if it was just for a little while.

The hum of the engine and the gentle rocking of the plane had lulled him into a state of relaxation, but his mind was still active, thinking about the upcoming campaign and his role in it.

After the long hours of flight, the plane finally came to a stop at Suvarnabhumi Airport [BKK]. Bible stretched his arms and legs, feeling a bit stiff from the prolonged sitting. He gathered his belongings and exited the plane, taking a deep breath of the warm Thai air.

A car was already waiting for him, courtesy of his father's arrangements. Bible entered the sleek black vehicle, feeling a sense of relief wash over him as he settled into the comfortable leather seat. He decided to take a nap during the ride home, letting the gentle motion of the car lull him into a state of relaxation.

Mr. Min decided to take a day off from work to welcome his son. He had missed Bible terribly and wanted to spend the whole day with him.

As he waited for Bible's arrival, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. He had missed his son's bright smile and infectious laughter.

Bible's POV:

The ride from the airport to home was just thirty minutes, enough time for a short nap. As the car pulled up to the house, Bible's exhaustion melted away, replaced by excitement. He jumped out of the car and rushed into his father's open arms.

"Dad!" Bible exclaimed, hugging his father tightly.

"My son, I've missed you so much!" Mr. Min replied, holding Bible at arm's length to examine him. "You look tired. Come, let's get you settled."

As they walked into the house, Bible breathed in the familiar scent of home. The warm bath and food prepared by the house maids were just what he needed. After a refreshing bath and a delicious meal, Bible felt rejuvenated.

A few hours later, Bible woke up from his nap, feeling more refreshed. He looked out the window and saw that it was already nighttime.

The stars twinkled in the sky, and the moon cast a silver glow over the landscape. He heard a knock on the door.

"Who's that?" Bible asked, still lying lazily on the bed.

"Sorry to disturb you, sir. Your dad asked me to call you down for dinner," the maid replied.

"Okay, I'll be down in ten," Bible said, getting out of bed and freshening up. He took his time, enjoying the quiet moment to himself.

During dinner, Mr. Min asked, "I see you slept for a really long time. Are you feeling better now?"

Bible nodded, sipping his orange juice. "Yeah, I'm much better now. Thanks, Dad."

Mr. Min smiled. "I'm glad to hear that. By the way, I have a campaign event coming up for the election. Would you like to come with me?"

Bible looked up, intrigued. "What's the campaign about, Dad?"

Mr. Min leaned in, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "I'll tell you all about it tomorrow. For now, let's just enjoy dinner and each other's company."

Bible smiled, feeling happy to be home with his father. He took another sip of his orange juice, savoring the warmth and love that filled the room.

As they finished dinner, Mr. Min suggested they watch a movie together. Bible agreed, and they spent the rest of the evening laughing and enjoying each other's company.

As the night drew to a close, Bible felt sleepy, so he decided to call it a night.

" Good night, rest well to prepare for tomorrow's campaign" Bible said half sleepy walking up to his room.

"Yeah goodnight son" Mr Min replied

Bible got to his room and fell asleep almost immediately.
