Chapter 247 - Chapter 248 Esdeath's True Simp

He had been exiled by the Alpha!

Makiya's growing strength made the Alpha feel threatened. Makiya was younger, had more potential, and was far more handsome. Even the Alpha's harem, which used to be discreet, was now openly flirting with the 'pup' without even trying to hide it.

Remaining in the pack was a death sentence waiting to happen; the Alpha could see his own end coming. Instead of waiting for the inevitable, he struck first to eliminate the threat while Makiya was still immature.

The Alpha was in his prime, while Makiya was still growing. He was no match for the older wolf. Fortunately, the Alpha didn't go for the kill; he merely drove Makiya out of their territory.

'Go ahead then! Tables turn and times change. Don't look down on a young wolf just because he's weak now!'

Makiya howled defiantly in his heart as he lowered his head and silently left the pack, wandering alone across the boundless icy plains.

This world was dangerous—incredibly so. Powerful monsters carved out their own territories. Wolves relied on their pack to survive; alone, Makiya struggled to find enough food, and going hungry was a common occurrence.

One day, Makiya was chased by a giant lizard. The creature's strength far surpassed his own; a single lapse in concentration would mean his life.

But just as Makiya was running out of breath, the lizard let out a mournful wail and turned tail, fleeing even though it could have swallowed Makiya in the next second.

While Makiya stood there dazed, the ground began to vibrate. As the tremors intensified, roars and explosions erupted. The sounds of slaughter reached the heavens, scattering the clouds above.

'Humans! It's humans!' Makiya's heart skipped a beat. It was a well-known fact that while 'naked apes' weren't the strongest physically, their hands and clever brains were like divine gifts that could crush any creature.

Humans in a supernatural world were likely even more formidable. The giant lizard's reaction was proof enough—the reputation of the 'naked ape' was still terrifying in the animal kingdom. Those who didn't respect it were already dead.

Makiya wanted to run, but it was too late. Knights forged from ice descended from the sky like heavy tanks, passing right by him. On the other side of the plain, burly warriors clad in bear and wolf skins trampled the earth as they launched a war charge.

As the two armies collided, the sounds of battle shook the sky. Makiya curled his body into a crevice in the ice, his soft ears pinned back, trembling all over.

'I hope the people in this world don't eat dog meat... I mean, wolf meat.'

About two hours later, the war drew to a close. A thick scent of blood filled the battlefield and drifted into Makiya's nostrils, triggering a hunger so deep his stomach growled like thunder.

'I'm dead, I'm dead, I'm dead, I'm dead...'

Makiya cursed his traitorous stomach, but his body wouldn't listen. He could only pray the survivors hadn't noticed him and would have the mercy to let him go.

According to Murphy's Law, anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

Just as the surroundings fell silent and Makiya thought he had survived, a blade of ice pierced through the layer and rested accurately against his neck, just an inch away from slicing through his fur.

Stiffly raising his head, Makiya first saw a pair of white high-top boots. Looking up along the slender legs, he saw a beautiful woman with ice-blue hair. Because of her... impressive peaks, he could only see half of her face from his low angle.

Fresh crimson blood was splattered across her pristine white military uniform, adding a touch of gore and lethal elegance to her beauty.

"Oh? I found a little puppy."

The woman named Esdeath dug Makiya out. Her ice-blue pupils scanned the little 'dog' as if she were contemplating something.

Makiya was paralyzed, clenching his legs to control his bladder. He was just a student from a peaceful era, protected far too well by his country. Faced with a life-or-death crisis, his survival instinct instantly defeated his shame and integrity.

What is the pride of a Snow Wolf? Can you eat pride?

"Woof! Woof! Woof!"

Makiya flipped onto his back to show his belly and stuck out his tongue, wagging his tail so hard he cleared the snow off the ice.

By relying on shameless cuteness and active submission, Makiya finally saved his life. Better yet, he had found himself a place in the system.

After being led into the military camp by Esdeath, Makiya gradually learned the details of this place, as well as Esdeath's name.

"It's actually the Akame ga Kill! world!"

Makiya was profoundly shocked. This 'pure love' series was notoriously treacherous. As a weak Danger Beast, one wrong move and he could have been captured by humans for soup or turned into some bizarre weapon. Casting aside his dignity, Makiya exerted every effort to act cute and please her, clinging tightly to Esdeath's metaphorical thigh.

Esdeath was the youngest and strongest General in the Empire, as well as the leader of the special police force known as the Jaegers. Born into the Partas Clan, a hunter tribe, the philosophy of 'survival of the fittest' had been ingrained in her since childhood. She possessed terrifying strength that was difficult to rival.

She wielded the Ice-type Imperial Arms, Demon's Extract. She possessed immense leadership skills and had led her troops to crush the Northern Tribes and suppress the Western Tribes. During her leadership of the Jaegers, she successfully purged various violent crimes and maintained peace in the Imperial Capital.

Esdeath had both sadistic and romantic sides, but overall, the sadistic side dominated. She was ruthless and bloodthirsty toward enemies, and burying entire armies alive was just another Tuesday for her.

However, she was excellent to her own people. She was incredibly generous to her subordinates and the common folk, often sharing her rewards with her soldiers and eating alongside them.

For reasons unknown, Esdeath chose to keep Makiya by her side as a pet. Whatever she ate, Makiya ate. Sometimes, when she hunted high-level Danger Beasts, she would toss a portion of the meat to him.

With his diet improved, Makiya's talent was fully unleashed. His size grew larger by the day and his abilities increased, but his attitude toward Esdeath never changed, as if he had fully accepted her as his master.

No kidding—this was the ultimate 'golden thigh.' Not clinging to it would be an insult to his status as a transmigrator.

Meanwhile, Makiya didn't neglect the development of his own powers. His ability to control ice complemented Esdeath's Imperial Arms perfectly.

Once his height exceeded three meters, Makiya became Esdeath's mount. In most low-stakes battles, he fought alongside her. His incredible speed allowed him to weave through the battlefield, drastically increasing Esdeath's efficiency in slaughter.

Despite her reputation as a mass murderer, the woman was actually a romantic at heart, longing for a 'fairy tale' love. Makiya had seen her secretly buy romance manga more than once, only daring to read them late at night when it was quiet.

One night, Makiya was curled up by the door, half-asleep, when he felt Esdeath tug on his paw.

Following his master into the tent, Makiya's massive body crouched on the ground. He watched as Esdeath slowly removed her high-top boots and raised her porcelain-white feet, which were still warm.

"Good boy. Lick them." Esdeath extended her feet to Makiya's mouth, holding a manga book to cover the lower half of her face, her eyes wandering nervously.

Makiya: "..."

"So you actually did it?" Erotica Makiya said, sounding disappointed. "Warden play isn't off-limits, but you have to distinguish between being proactive and being reactive. You were completely dominated. Where's your integrity? Your dignity? How did it taste?"

Husky Makiya stiffened. "The wise adapt to the circumstances! I couldn't beat her anyway, so what else was I supposed to do? Besides... I liked it."

"Simp! You've thrown away the integrity of the Makiya Army," SAO NPC Makiya said, heartbroken.

Husky Makiya sneered. "We're all the same person. To put it another way, if it were any of you, you would've made the same choice. It's the pot calling the kettle black."

Liao Zhai Makiya patted Husky Makiya's... paw, saying earnestly, "Everyone understands what happened before. It's survival; nothing more to say. And Esdeath really is top-tier. But now that your cheat is online, you can't embarrass us!"

"Absolutely," Husky Makiya said with a dreamy smile. "By the way, Big Shot, do you have any transformation techniques for the Demon Race over there? Hook me up with one."

Husky Makiya lowered his head, his snout almost bumping into Liao Zhai Makiya's chest, his wet nose twitching.

"Transformation? What do you want that for?"

"I want it, obviously," Husky Makiya nodded vigorously. "You guys know my body... it's too big. I'll kill someone. Being a gentleman has always been our fine quality; transformation is a must."

Liao Zhai Makiya rubbed his head. "Alright, let me think... Neither my teacher nor I have transformation spells for monsters. I'll probably have to find a Great Demon to 'ask.' Give me some time."

"Perfect! Thanks, Big Shot. No rush, Esdeath and I haven't reached that stage yet," Husky Makiya nodded repeatedly, his mouth splitting into a wide grin.

Erotica Makiya shook his head and sighed. "You're already that strong, just use force."

"No, we have to have principles."

Hacker Makiya watched the noisy group, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Then he took a deep breath, his eyes turning cold again as he stepped back into his own tunnel.

The time flow in each world was different. His plot had only recently begun, and the war between humans and machines had officially kicked off.

The reign of the robots must end. In this war, humanity must win!

The previous Makiya had read many reviews and interpretations of *The Matrix*. Many people guessed that his world was full of despair—that it was just simulations within simulations, and humans could never escape the machines. All resistance and struggle were merely fantasies occurring within a brain in a vat.

Makiya wanted to see for himself exactly what the truth of his world was.
