"Lie down." Jonathan's command sounded calm, yet full of authority.
The second hand on Cindy's watch ticked away mercilessly. She looked at it again; she had been waiting for an hour and twenty minutes. Her boredom slowly morphed into a simmering irritation.
Every few minutes, her eyes swept across the crowd in the filming area—large lights, cameras, and dozens of crew members moving like busy ants. There was no sign that Sella was coming to see her.
"How long am I supposed to wait like this?" Cindy hissed, her legs feeling numb. She stood up, deciding to dispel the monotony by moving around.
Cindy began to walk slowly toward the crowd. She wanted to see the filming process closer than she ever had before. Just behind the director's monitor, she saw him: the lead actor, Andreuw Bastian, who was Sella's co-star.
Andreuw was repeating a scene, laughing casually with Sella. The spotlight shone on his face, making his jawline look razor-sharp.
"Ha! Andreuw..."
