Chapter 3 - Treasure Pavilion

"Take this token. From now on, if you need anything, you can come here yourself." After Wang Tian Shui opened the formation, he took out a token from his storage ring and handed it to Wang Feixian.

"This is a token I refined later. In the clan, only your token and mine can open the formation here," Wang Tian Shui explained when he saw the doubt in Wang Feixian's eyes.

"Thank you, Grandfather." Wang Feixian did not refuse. Since his grandfather gave it to him, he would just take it.

Walking into the Treasure Pavilion, one could see at a glance that the items displayed here were indeed scarce, and there were not many valuable spiritual objects.

On a shelf made of low-grade spirit wood, there were dozens of wooden boxes. These were the spiritual objects stored in the Treasure Pavilion.

On the other side of the shelf were some books. There were a few on the top, and many more below, dozens of them, arranged quite haphazardly.

"You should come here often in the future. I'll tell you a few things simply.

These are the classics. The two on top are the cultivation techniques that the clan currently possesses that can be Cultivated to the Foundation Establishment Stage. One is the Profound Fire Art that you cultivate.

The other is a Wood Attribute cultivation technique called the Azure Wood Scripture, which can be Cultivated to the Mid-stage Foundation Establishment.

The ones below are all cultivation techniques that can be Cultivated to the peak Qi Refining, and they are also the main inheritance of the clan now.

Books on the Hundred Arts of Cultivation, such as alchemy, talismans drawing, artifact refining and formations creation, are these at the very bottom. They are quite disorganized, all collected over the years, and you will have to slowly organize them yourself.

There are no cultivators in the clan in this area. I only know some simple Artifact Refining methods, barely able to refine Tier 1 Medium Grade spiritual artifacts and below.

These are my insights into Artifact Refining. You can slowly study them." Wang Tian Shui took out a Jade Slip and placed it inside the Treasure Pavilion.

Wang Feixian could enter and exit here freely in the future, so placing it here was the same as giving it to Wang Feixian.

"These are some of the spiritual objects currently existing in the clan. Most of them are Tier 1 spiritual objects, with only a few being Tier 2 spiritual objects, but they are not particularly precious. You can take a look, and if there's anything you want, you can take one.

Although you cannot leave the Spirit Mountain now, you still need some treasures for self-defense. There are a few Tier 1 high grade spiritual artifacts here, barely enough for you to use within the clan," Wang Tian Shui said generously, pointing to the other shelf.

"Then thank you, Grandfather," Wang Feixian said gratefully.

Over the years, Wang Feixian had been Cultivating on the Spirit Mountain to avoid exposing himself, and he had never gone out.

His grandfather wanted as few people as possible to know about his situation, so he usually had very little contact with his clan members.

However, as a cultivator, if one did not have some means, it would be difficult to move an inch in the Cultivation World in the future.

Wang Feixian was also very curious about the treasures in the clan. Most of the items here were collected by his grandfather and placed here.

Wang Tian Shui looked at the curious Wang Feixian, waved his hand, and a stream of spiritual power shot out, opening all the wooden boxes containing the spiritual objects.

From several of them, a medicinal fragrance wafted out, containing spirit herbs. There were only two or three plants of Tier 2 or above, and it was also very difficult for the clan to utilize them.

In several others, there were spirit iron, spirit beast bones, and the like. Among them was a piece of Tier 2 spirit gold, Blazing Sun Fire Copper, which is a Fire Attribute Tier 2 spirit gold.

"This piece of Blazing Sun Fire Copper is temporarily reserved for you. When you advance to the Foundation Establishment Stage, I will visit a few Artifact Refiners and ask them to refine a Spiritual Artifact for you," Wang Tian Shui said with a smile, pointing to the Blazing Sun Fire Copper in the wooden box.

He was naturally happy to have a spiritual object suitable for his grandson; otherwise, these things would be wasted if left unused here.

"Thank you, Grandfather," Wang Feixian bowed in gratitude.

Afterward, he looked at the other wooden boxes. One of them contained several small bottles, storing red blood. These were the essence blood of spirit beasts.

However, judging by the grade, it should be the essence blood of Tier 1 spirit beasts.

"Oh?" Wang Feixian let out a soft exclamation because he saw a very peculiar item.

Inside the wooden box was a reddish, bone-like object resembling a spirit beast spirit bone, but it had cracks and some special runes on it.

"Grandfather, what is this?" Wang Feixian asked curiously, pointing to this spirit bone.

Wang Tian Shui followed his grandson's finger, thought for a moment, and then said, "This is a spirit bone that was accidentally obtained before. It looks like a Tier 2 spirit beast's spirit bone, so I put it here to fill the clan's collection.

This should be the spirit bone of a Fire Attribute avian spirit beast, but because it was damaged and broken, much of its spirituality has been lost.

However, as a Tier 2 spiritual material, if an Artifact Refiner is found, it should be possible to refine it into a Tier 1 high grade, or even a Tier 1 Supreme Grade spiritual artifact."

Hearing his grandfather's explanation, Wang Feixian stepped forward, picked up the spirit bone, and held it in his hand to examine it.

There were some incomprehensible runes on it, which looked extraordinary, but were difficult to understand.

"Grandfather, are these runes?" Wang Feixian placed the face-sized spirit bone in front of his grandfather, pointed to the patterns on it, and asked.

Wang Tian Shui looked closely. He had studied these things before. They should be a part of the spells that Tier 2 spirit beasts naturally possess, imprinted on it.

However, over time, these things became useless.

Hearing his grandfather's explanation, Wang Feixian did not pay much attention to this item. However, since the runes on it were the spirit beast's own spells, he might be able to gain some insight from them.

"It's unlikely to gain insight into the spirit beast's spells through this item, because it has lost its spirituality.

Even if the spell's power is strong, it may not be suitable for cultivators to use, and it may not be stronger than the spells that come with cultivation techniques," Wang Tian Shui said without much expectation.

As a Foundation Establishment Stage Cultivator, he had also tried to study this item before, but he gained nothing.

"I will have free time for the next few years. If I can gain insight, it can add a spell to the clan," Wang Feixian explained.

Wang Feixian no longer needed to cultivate much now. He would only advance to the Foundation Establishment Stage around thirty years old at the earliest; if it were too early, it would arouse suspicion.

So, for the next twenty years, he could study these things within the clan.

"That's good. If you can truly make achievements in alchemy, talismans drawing, artifact refining and formations creation, the clan's development will be easier in the future.

By then, we can also refine pills, spiritual artifacts, talismans, and formations ourselves, reducing our reliance on the outside," Wang Tian Shui nodded in agreement.

After explaining everything here to Wang Feixian and giving him a Tier 1 high grade spiritual artifact Flying Sword and a Tier 1 high grade defensive spiritual artifact, Wang Tian Shui left the place.

After selecting some items from here and putting them into his storage ring, Wang Feixian activated the Treasure Pavilion's formation with the token and returned to the valley where he Cultivated.

"Isn't this my extraordinarily talented nephew? Come, come to your auntie," a playful voice came from Wang Feixian's ear halfway.
