Chapter 1 - GAME LIKE WORLD

Chapter 1

[HOST CONSCIOUSNESS AWAKENED: Hello.]

"Where am I?" He tried to look around but couldn't because he didn't have eyeballs or even a body. But somehow he could see a bright window.

[HOST BODY DIDN'T SURVIVE FOR TRANSMIGRATION.]

[CREATION OF ANOTHER BODY FOR HOST IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE.]

"This can't be. I didn't die, I was perfectly fine." He could remember he was at home, watching movies with his mom when they fell asleep on the couch.

But he didn't remember how he died.

"Wait, I was taking a nap."

[HOST DIED IN A FATAL FIRE OUTBREAK WHILE SLEEPING.]

[EVERYONE IN THE BUILDING WERE BURNT TO ASHES.]

[BUT NOT ALL WAS DEEMED FOR TRANSMIGRATION.]

But he couldn't believe it.

"Lies! This is a lie. I'm just having a bad dream. Maybe mom will wake me up soon, right?"

[ERROR! HOST IS CURRENTLY OVERREACTING!]

[TROUBLESHOOTING HOST'S EMOTIONS.]

[GRANTING HOST MOD TO HELP PROCESS SMOOTHLY.]

[LOADING…]

"What! You're talking about me losing my mom—my life—like it's a game!"

The emotion he felt wanted to flood out but he had no physical body. His mom had been the only person he had as family, no dad, no relatives. They all abandoned his mom because she got pregnant with him in high school.

[MOD COMPLETE!]

[HOST HAS BEEN GRANTED Stoic's Resolve (TOGGLE)]

NOW HOST CAN CALMLY PROPERLY PROCESS INFORMATION LOGICALLY.

His emotions didn't disappear. But immediately he felt them suppressed instantly.

He realized feeling sad for his mom was okay but now he needed to move forward. His past self had died. Emotions wouldn't make him move forward even if this sudden calm wasn't his—it was reasonable. At least he should give an ear to what the system brought him here for.

[HOST EMOTIONS HAS STABILIZED. PROCEEDING WITH NEXT STEP.]

[...]

[CHOOSE YOUR NAME.]

"Diaman Twelve." He chose the same name his mom had given him on earth to always remember her.

[...]

[SELECT RACE.]

[HUMAN]

[ELVES]

[WEREWOLF]

[DRAGON]

[VAMPIRE]

"Human. I don't have experience being another elf or any of the other races, so human it is."

[...]

[NOW SELECT A CLASS.]

[COMBAT CLASS]

[ARCHER CLASS]

[MAGE CLASS]

[HEALER CLASS]

Diaman thought about the pros and cons deeply. Combat class is a good option. But he knew his limits—close combat was always something he failed at.

Archer class was perfect for long range but very limited, and the healer class would make him depend on people for combat while he provided support.

So, Mage class was the perfect option. Magic is unlimited. Combat, archery, anything could fit under Mage class.

"Mage class."

[...]

[SELECT YOUR SUBCLASS.]

[LVL 1 Elemental (COMMON)]

[LVL 1 Summoner (COMMON)]

[LVL 1 Necromancer (RARE)]

[LVL (???) PARASITE (SSS RARE)]

"Parasite mage." Diaman's decision was quick due to the fact he didn't know the world he was being sent to.

Which means he needed as much power as possible. Even with the level unknown, Diaman knew an SSS rare ability can't possibly be weak.

[HOST CLASS HAS BEEN GRANTED]

['PARASITE CLASS' ]

[SKILLS GAINED]

[HOST CAN CREATE PARASITE USES MANA]

[THE NUMBER OF PARASITES ABLE TO CREATE IS DETERMINED BY YOUR SP LEVEL.]

[WEAKER PARASITE (S Grade) TAKES UP 1 SP]

[WHILE HIGHER ONES (SS Grade) (SSS Grade) CAN TAKE UP 2 SP— 4 SP ]

[SP ARE SLOTS THAT DETERMINES THE NUMBERS OF MAGIC SPELLS/ TECHNIQUE A PERSON CAN USE.]

[HOST CAN SUMMON AND DISMISS CREATED PARASITES AT WILL.]

"Hmph. It's even better than I expected. My lowest grade is an S-rank!"

[PARASITE TYPES]

As a micro-biology student, Diaman knew what each parasite could do from text but the results in a fantasy world could differ.

[HOST CAN TELEPATHICALLY INFECT ANY TARGET WITHIN 50 METER RADIUS WITH CREATED PARASITE.]

"I can create a parasite that eats any damage in my body and heals the wounded area. The possibilities are endless."

[INSTALLING KNOWLEDGE TO HOST…]

The knowledge settled in like he was being taught naturally. He understood every rule and gained every knowledge he needed.

[EARN 10 EXP FOR EACH INFECTED TARGET]

[ 25 EXP FOR DEFEATING ENEMIES WITH PARASITE]

[ 5 EXP FOR EACH NEW PARASITE CREATION]

[ WHEN EXP BAR IS FILLED HOST CAN LEVEL UP TO NEXT RANK. ]

[LEVEL UP TO ACQUIRE NEW SKILLS.]

[MAX OUT PARASITE CLASS TO UNLOCK A NEW CLASS.]

"Okay, so show me my stats."

The system responded to his request and showed a new screen.

[DIAMAN TWELVE ]

[Class: PARASITE LVL 1/100]

He paused to understand clearly.

Mana was the energy used to create the parasites while SP was like his storage unit. Making it his greatest limit.

Then he continued reading the text.

[LEVEL UP TO STATS!]

"Now what?" Diaman was annoyed by the endless windows and texts.

[HOST WILL BE SPAWNED IN DESIGNATED GAME LIKE WORLD.]

[WHERE HOST WILL CLEAR DUNGEONS AND LEVEL UP!]

"Not that! If I play along with the game, what's my reward?"

[...]

"NOTHING? ANSWER."

[IF HOST REACHES GOAL CONDITIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED.]

"What's the goal?" He knew the system was trying to trick him by giving a vague answer.

[...]

[BECOME A GOD AND INFEST THE HEAVENS ]

It didn't make sense for now. But Diaman didn't protest. Fighting with a system on a god level would be pointless.
