While still in his hiding spot, Cole tried his best to calm his breathing and steady himself.
He wanted to make sure he was in the perfect state to record, to prevent any accident.
After about ten minutes of trying to control his breathing and actions, Cole felt he was ready.
He started by summoning the Codex into the real world. The codex appeared silently, and this time it didn't cause any reaction.
He then carefully activated the Empty Codex's record ability while trying to remember all the information he had on the ability.
Upon activation, Cole felt a large suction force. It was his Life energy draining ravenously.
In correspondence to the draining Life energy, weird Letters and symbols began appearing on the empty page next to the flaming fist ability.
Slowly but surely the page was getting filled, and Cole could feel the new ability coming to life in him.
Suddenly, there was a disturbance in the Life energy flow. The recording also seemed to stop.
