Lin Meiyin touches her lips and was still in shock, she looks at herself in the mirror her hair was messy her cheeks flushed.
"That was my first kiss and he just took it away like that" she said with wonder. Gu Chenyu comes out of the bathroom and then he looks at Lin Meiyin who had buttoned up her shirt, he wore pyjamas and Lin Meiyin ran into the bathroom clearly avoiding him.
Lin Meiyin puts on her pyjamas too and climbs the other side of the bed. "Have a good night, your father is a scheming master I was scared of using the bathroom"she said, without looking at him.
"He's still going to be watching our every move"he said. Lin Meiyin says nothing and then closes her eyes to sleep Gu Chenyu looks at her curled up and asleep. He felt uneasy all of a sudden and then he sighs and closes his eyes, going into deep thoughts "What's wrong with me maybe it's because she reminds me of mother" he said in his heart.
The next morning
Lin Meiyin felt like she wasn't breathing properly and opens her eyes there was a large hand on her slender waist it was warm. Her cheeks turn red in an instant they were at the middle of the bed and Gu Chenyu's hand rested on her waist he was sleeping so peacefully, "Even in his sleep he's being naughty"she mutters to herself. Lin Meiyin quietly and slowly raises up his hand and then rolls out of his grip, she gently drops his hand on the bed and leaves the bed to the bathroom. Immediately Gu Chenyu heard the bathroom door closing he opened his eyes, turns out the king of mischief was wide awake all along, his lips curled up slightly, she was just a shy thing wasn't she.
Lin Meiyin comes out of the bathroom in a robe and dries her hair. "You've woken up good morning" she said drying her hair. Gu Chenyu stands up and then goes to her, "Let me do it don't say a word he might still be watching" he said whispering in her ear.
Gu Chenyu takes the hair dryer and then he dries her hair, "your dad is a pervert you know watching young couples" she whispered to him. Gu Chenyu says nothing and pokes her waist "Get up let's run" he said.
"Okay"she said nodding, she watches Gu Chenyu walk into the bathroom and she shrugs and goes to the closet.
Gu Chenyu and Lin Meiyin hit the road and start running together, well after a while somebody gave up. Lin Meiyin kicked a stone and yelped in pain, "My foot" she cried, Gu Chenyu's face turns ashen and he turns around and sees Lin Meiyin with red eyes.
"My foot" she cried. "You are one hell of a calamity just the queue we needed" he said going back to her. Gu Chenyu places her foot down and tears fall down.
" You can't" he said with an annoyed look,
"Come hop on my back" he said.
"What Mr Gu what are you saying?" She said.
"You might as well crawl then, stop nagging and do it" he said.
"Okay" she said climbing his back, Gu Chenyu carries Lin Meiyin on his back and she closes her eyes to sleep enjoying her self.
It was already breakfast time and everyone had gathered, "I wonder where sister and brother in law are" said Lin Xuewei.
"Oh there they are" she said everyone's attention was drawn to the living room as Gu Chenyu carries Lin Meiyin on his back, drifting off looking extremely cute. Gu Zihan's heart tingled, as he watches them; they were feeding everyone dog food now.
"What's wrong with her" Old man Gu asked.
"Lin Meiyin's tired she injured her foot" Gu Chenyu said.
Old man Gu remembers what he was watching last night the brat must have tired the little girl out. Gu Chenyu says nothing else and goes upstairs he drops Lin Meiyin who had fallen asleep on the bed.
"She even got the nerve to sleep" he said,
He takes off her shoes her big toe was red and a bit swollen. He looks at her sleeping peacefully and then his lips form an arc, he presses on her injured foot, "Ahh..." Lin Meiyin opens her eyes and drags her foot from his grip, but his grip tightened
"What are you doing?" She yelled.
"Dare to fall asleep on my back you lazy thing" he said
"I..I... didn't mean to I was just tired, by the way a piggy back is fun"she said. He applies a little force.
"Not on my back" he said his face cold, Lin Meiyin was going crazy"Let go are you having pleasure seeing me in pain why are you're so heartless" said Lin Meiyin, her eyes red.
"I'm trying to reduce the swelling you idiot"he cursed.
"You're doing it on purpose to teach me a lesson" she cried.
"Of course you have been too naughty you need some taming you little viper, always getting me on my nerves" he said, cracking her toe that was slightly bent.
Lin Meiyin felt like fainting this man was so heartless, he didn't even give her something to bite, damn him!!! She cursed him in her heart.
"Go freshen up and I'll apply some ointment on it to reduce the swelling, "Thank you for causing me pain"she said with a sarcastic smile. Gu Chenyu says nothing
as he watches Lin Meiyin hop like a bird into the bathroom and then he chuckles.
She was such an adorable little thing, the couples come downstairs with Gu Chenyu supporting her. When she was about to fall he swoopes her in his arms and then carries her to sit down, Aunt Si sneered these two were definitely annoyed, they were going to cause problems especially Lin Meiyin, she was like a vicious snake now.
"How's your foot?" Aunt Si asked.
"It's fine it's a little better Gu Chenyu helped me massage it and apply some ointment, my husband is so good to me" she said with red cheeks. After breakfast Lin Meiyin goes upstairs and then she sees the old butler Mr Xu coming out of their bedroom Emma hides in a corner, "Gu Chenyu must have been right, cunning old pervert" she cursed. Old man Gu sneezed in the living room wondering who was cursing at him.
Lin Meiyin realized her foot was better after that arrogant man's massage he was such a grudge holder"she mutters to herself and she takes her laptop and then goes to the garden and writes something. Gu Chenyu suddenly left home in a hurry maybe something happened at the company, well that wasn't her business. Lin Meiyin busied herself writing a book online well she couldn't fully depend on her arrogant husband for everything, she didn't want the same thing to happen again.
"How's your foot?" Came a familiar voice, Lin Meiyin pauses and looks up Gu Zihan was right in front of her.
"It's better why'd you ask" she said with a cold face. Gu Zihan sneered and then sits next to her, Lin Meiyin shifts to the farthest end. Gu Zihan studies her "You can go now" she said.
"Nice technique, Lin Meiyin I applaud you from the mountain, you're hooking up with my brother just to get to me, I'm not so easily forgotten" said Gu Zihan. Lin Meiyin hits him "how dare you call me a promiscuous woman are you listening to yourself, Gu Chenyu and I are married and do you know why he's better than you, he's satisfied with one woman and loves me for who I am whether I'm skinny or thick unlike you who plays with two sisters and is so malicious " said Lin Meiyin standing up. Gu Zihan's face turned ashen as there was a hand print on his face he grabs her hand and looks at her.
"I'm not buying that, Meiyin you have only me in your heart, you're trying to show me the best version of yourself" said Gu Zihan.
Lin Meiyin smiles "Your imaginations is running wild brother In law, You think the world revolves around only you, pathetic, Chenyu and I love each other so stop trying to play mind games here and sowing discord too before I hit you again, by the way I'd rather die than go back to you, you're nothing but trash in my eyes" said Lin Meiyin her eyes filled with disgust and hatred, she pulls her arm from his grip. "I feel so dirty being touched by you, this is my last warning " she said walking away with a cold face. Gu Zihan was so embarrassed she had changed a lot he watched her go and then he sits down thinking about something. Lin Meiyin walks in taking off her jacket and then throwing it into the bin. Unknown to her a pair of round eyes were staring at Lin Meiyin, the figure comes out from the corner it was Lin Xuewei she had seen everything that was happening and she dug her nails into her flesh gritting her teeth.
