Chapter 5 - Whirlpool Empire cap 5

Since he had unlocked his chakra naturally, he didn't have to insist much for his parents to teach him the basics of chakra.

After Gin showed adequate chakra control, his parents did not teach him ninjutsu as he had hoped.

Instead, they taught him fuinjutsu directly.

Although he already knew he would learn fuinjutsu because his clan was the Uzumaki and he had been taught calligraphy since he was little, he did not expect fuinjutsu to be the only thing he would be taught.

This is when he realized that the Uzumaki were fuinjutsu nerds, neglecting the rest of the shinobi arts.

Of course, as a centuries-old clan, they had a library where they could look up various Ninjutsu and Genjutsu if they wanted, but most of the Uzumaki, or rather almost all of them, did not spend much time learning other shinobi arts besides fuinjutsu.

Why would they do that?

Unlike other shinobi clans who fight every day to survive and must always be on alert for a possible attack on their clans, the Uzumaki clan did not experience that due to the place where they were located.

Many years ago they found this island and claimed it for themselves, and then they put strong defenses in the form of whirlpools in the seas around the island, so they didn't have to be on guard for a possible attack.

Of course, whirlpools are not infallible and the seals that form them could be destroyed by an army of thousands of shinobi, but the Uzumaki did not believe that an army with that many shinobi would appear on their shores.

Even the strongest clans of the elemental nations only had a little over 1000 people, so there was no possibility of an army of thousands of shinobi attacking them.

'It's not like that many clans are going to unite anytime soon, is it?'

The Uzumaki had that mentality and concentrated on fuinjutsu because they found it fun.

Since they didn't have to fight much, they didn't have to learn destructive ninjutsu and could put all their energy into practicing fuinjutsu.

This is when young Gin realized how the Uzumaki were almost annihilated.

They put all their strength into fuinjutsu, an art that was difficult to learn, and although the Uzumaki were geniuses of fuinjutsu, very few managed to apply it in the heat of combat.

Since he didn't believe the other Uzumakis would listen to him and train in the other shinobi arts, young Gin put the matter aside for the time being and concentrated on practicing Fuinjutsu.

Of course, he also practiced Ninjutsu and Taijutsu in his free time.

As time passed and he learned how chakra worked, he created the technique that made his improvement faster.

Shadow Clone Jutsu.

Recalling the hand seals from the series and now knowing what they mean, it only took him 2 weeks to create his first shadow clone.

Of course, over time he mastered the technique of multiple shadow clones.

While his real body was doing physical training, his clones practiced fuinjutsu.

Although he was an Uzumaki and had a lot of chakra compared to the average person, he did not have a tailed beast sealed in his stomach that would increase his chakra to such an amount that he could create a thousand clones.

Because he wanted a way to obtain more chakra, he came up with several seals to store chakra, but the downside of these seals was that they took a long time to fill and be usable.

The idea that occurred to him at that moment was to copy the idea of sealing a tailed beast in a human, who would be called a jinchuriki, and replace the tailed beast with a shadow clone.

With the idea in his head, he quickly created two clones, and sealed one of them inside the other.

He checked his work and found that the clone's chakra coils were fine and connected to the seal, where they could input and output chakra as desired.

He even learned from the clone's mouth that he could communicate with the clone sealed inside him.

After freeing the sealed clone and dispelling the 2 clones, Gin checked the returned memories and made sure there was nothing wrong.

After being sure of his new seal, Gin created another clone and this time sealed it in his stomach.

"Seal!" Gin shouted as his clone was drawn into his hands and wrapped in fuinjutsu characters before being sealed in his stomach.

Just like his previous clone, he could feel the seal connected to his chakra system and was able to enter his mental sea to see his sealed clone.

Because it was his mental sea, he could easily modify it and make it seem like a warm forest with a river running through it.

His sealed clone, meanwhile, was free in his mental sea and could modify it as well if he wanted.

From that day on, at night his sealed clone was in charge of filling his chakra system with more chakra to expand his chakra system, and during the day Gin was in charge of sending chakra to the seal to feed the clone in optimal conditions.

From that day on, his chakra amount grew steadily, and he had to intensify his chakra control training.

His physical training was also intensified with endurance exercises.

He previously used small weights on his wristbands and ankle weights that he used to add weight to.

But the new seals worked in such a way that it was more difficult to move his body normally, affecting his entire body equally.

With the help of shadow clones, he was also able to practice Genjutsu and know what he did right or wrong when memories returned after the clone was destroyed.

The years passed, and by the age of 20, Gin was already known among his clan as one of the strongest.

The Uzumaki family periodically faced each other in fuinjutsu competitions, and Gin quickly became known for winning every competition.

In this way, he caught the attention of the clan elders who taught him more when they noticed his talent.

It was thanks to the shadow clones that Gin was able to progress rapidly, and his sealed clone inside him had even more merit.

It was his sealed clone who ordered the information sent by his shadow clones, which Gin then reviewed in his dreams.

Of course, if the information was important, it was immediately sent to Gin's mind, drawing her attention.

With the strength he possessed and the destructive jutsus he had recreated from his memories, he was certain that not even Hashirama could defeat him.

Having mastered senjutsu and being able to enter sage mode at any time thanks to his sage chakra storage seal, he was sure that not even Hashirama and Madara together could defeat him.

He had to travel far over the sea, far from any civilization, and test his jutsus to know his strength.

When he was 30 years old, he got tired of waiting for the end of the era of warring clans and left Uzumaki Island.

As far as he knew, Hashirama hadn't even been born yet, so it would be many years before the Uzumaki clan was in danger.

Being away from his native island for the first time and coming into contact with other people outside the Uzumaki clan, Gin enjoyed traveling and learning about new cultures and jutsus.

If it weren't for his disguise, Gin would have become famous long ago by defeating entire shinobi clans when they came into conflict.

At that time, Gin traveled without anyone being his opponent, and he would have continued to do so for a few more years if it weren't for the seals he left with his parents to warn them if they had any problems.

Having created Tobirama's Flying Thunder God, he was able to return to the island in a few seconds after expending a certain amount of chakra.

When she appeared next to her parents and they told her what was happening, she didn't like what she heard at all.

An internal conflict.

When Gin arrived and defeated all his opponents, it had already been decided that Gin would be the new patriarch of the Uzumaki clan and Daimyo of the land of whirlpools.

Although many in the current patriarch's direct lineage disliked it, they could do nothing because the selection of the next patriarch in the Uzumaki clan was always based on personal abilities.

Being the best, even above the patriarch, he could do nothing to prevent Gin from taking command of the clan in the future.

But since the current patriarch was not yet very old and Gin did not yet want to assume the position before traveling through the elemental nations, the change of power was suspended for the time being.

It was years after Gin made her trip that things started to heat up.
