Chapter 1 - prologue

•••

22:34

The gentle rustling of leaves carried by the wind produces a calm, almost hypnotic sound within the dark, silent forest. Even in the most advanced world, peace and tranquility still exist… at least for a moment.

That silence doesn't last.

A sudden, massive disturbance erupts among the once-tranquil flowers, shattering the calm as loud shouts echo through the night.

=---------=

"Huff… huff…"

This can't continue. If this keeps going, I'll be caught. It was a stupid decision… but now I can't stop.

The black-clad figure is barely recognizable as a man, his foreign features hidden beneath shadows. He sprints at full speed, never slowing, his labored breathing making it clear that he's been running for quite some time.

"Catch him!"

"Don't let him escape!"

"If we don't catch him, say goodbye to our salaries!"

Hearing the furious voices behind him, Drakkon — self-proclaimed Uchiha, clearly stuck in an extreme chunibyo phase typical of someone who had crossed into another world — forces himself to move faster.

His foot catches on an exposed tree root.

The world spins.

He tumbles down a small embankment, disappearing into the deeper, darker jungle.

Joint Spanish–Brazilian National Defense Base – Sky Sector

Military Warehouse

22:01

"So this is it… a military warehouse."

Drakkon's eyes sweep across the vast space.

"So different from my original world. Equipment that wasn't even in the planning stages back there is already reality here… maybe even outdated."

A crooked smile forms beneath the shadows.

"But lucky me. Because from now on—this is all mine. By the time they return from training, I'll be long gone."

A vortex slowly forms above the shelves.

One by one, the racks vanish into it.

Then the larger equipment follows.

Not a single sound escapes — nothing that could alert the guards patrolling nearby.

Beep.

A barely audible noise breaks the absolute silence.

Drakkon immediately silences it, glancing at the timer.

Sixteen minutes already… and there's still ammo and canned food left.

Clicking his tongue, he decides not to risk it.

The vortex expands violently, swallowing multiple items at once. Objects are no longer simply absorbed — they're dragged in, scraping faintly across the floor.

Beep.

He checks the time again.

Twenty-six minutes over the limit… still acceptable.

Without hesitation, he leaps through the narrow window.

The young man vanishes into the dark forest, unaware that his seemingly flawless plan would soon collapse due to one fatal oversight—

Human greed.

Two recruits, desperate for a few stolen drinks to quench their thirst, would soon discover the empty warehouse… and sound the alarm.

22:28

Sirens explode into the night.

Squads of soldiers rush toward the forest with tracking dogs, using every remaining piece of equipment at the base. Yet their search remains focused on roads and hidden routes, trapped by the traditional belief that such a massive theft could only be moved by ground transport.

They never consider the impossible.

"Gentlemen."

The general's voice cuts through the tension.

"Can anyone explain how an entire warehouse of military supplies vanished right under your noses during night training?"

He is the highest-ranking authority on the base — and he's sweating bullets.

His gaze shifts between rage and disbelief as he stares at the warehouse stripped bare. Not a single item remains. Not even the shelves.

In front of him, the two soldiers who triggered the alarm kneel with their hands raised, drenched in sweat, hearts pounding as they're questioned repeatedly.

This makes no sense. No tracks. No signs of intrusion. It wasn't an enemy operation.

They couldn't have slipped past night training units using trucks… and even with manpower, it would take an entire day to move everything.

I personally checked the inventory this morning. Everything was accounted for.

Though no one can hear his thoughts, the confusion in his eyes says enough.

With no time left to hesitate, he issues another order.

All state roads and airports are to be sealed.

If these supplies aren't recovered… I'll be branded a traitor.

Unaware that the true culprit has no intention of leaving the country.

His destination lies elsewhere.

Grabbing his radio, the general speaks with cold finality.

"Search in every direction. Continue until dawn or until you find something."

A pause.

"Fail… and prepare to spend the next few months in detention centers. Interrogated. Along with your families."

After issuing the command, he casts one last glance at the empty warehouse before heading to report to higher command — and face whatever judgment awaits him.

Soldiers scatter in pale-faced squads to retrieve the hunting dogs. Those too slow are forced to search alone, relying on nothing but luck.

None of them notice the lieutenants trailing behind certain units, whispering among themselves.

"How…?"

"Is something like this even possible…?"

Their disbelief mirrors everyone's thoughts as they stare at what was once a massive, fully stocked military warehouse — now reduced to nothing but empty space.

06:59 — Nova Brasília International Airport

Two Days Before the Apocalypse

"So this is it…"

The man surveys the bustling airport as people continuously board and disembark.

"I can't believe it's already been a month since I arrived in this world."

His lips tighten.

"I don't know which idiot god sent me here, but out of all the anime and novel worlds… it had to be this hell-tier one."

He exhales slowly.

"At least I was sent a month early. Infinite storage space. And once the apocalypse officially begins, I'll awaken Madara Uchiha's powers."

A bitter chuckle escapes him.

"Of course, it had to come with a protagonist-style system — unlocking strength as I level up. And I don't even know how experience works yet."

A brief pause.

"Well… at least I have a drop system. Even if I don't trust it much."

The line advances.

It's his turn.

He presents his passport, passes through security, and boards the plane bound for Jiang City.

My best chance of survival is entering the apocalypse at the right moment.

And if I change the course of the world just a little… that shouldn't matter, right?

Setting his doubts aside, he opens the system diary, replaying everything he accomplished during his first month in this blue world—

A world that will soon become unrecognizable
