On the eighth floor of a glass tower sat the headquarters of Nagraja Technologies, once one of India's pioneering gaming companies, now under the ownership of the Singhania family. Inside a sleek meeting room, the board members huddled together, watching the display screen glow with charts and numbers.
At the head of the room stood Arya Singhania, the managing director and the second daughter of Raj Singhania. Her eyes burned with frustration as she pointed at the falling trend on the projector.
"Here's the reality," she said flatly. "Our turn-based strategy title is bleeding players. If we don't fix the matchmaking issues or innovate fast, Royalex Tech is going to eat us alive. They've been rolling out one successful idea after another, while we sit here debating."
