With the sound of footsteps, Itachi appeared at the door.
Naruto, hiding in the darkness, saw this and immediately compressed his chakra presence to the absolute minimum. He wouldn't be careless when it came to Itachi.
He observed the scene below carefully.
The moment Itachi stepped outside, he saw three members of the Police Force with three-tomoe Sharingan blocking the doorway, thuggish expressions on their faces.
