Kim Mu-myeong woke up in his dorm room.
Saturday afternoon.
Sunlight leaned through the half close blinds, every inch of the desk covered up by books and laptop.
Kim had all nighter and then wasted all his energy in the gym.
He sleeps on his chair like nothing matters.
Suddenly a knock echoed through the room and woke him up from the deep slumber.
"Kim?"
The door unlocks.
"Kim. Kim. KIM!"
"What?!" Kim yells, head throwing backwards from the desk.
Something small and metallic struck his forehead.
"Ow, what the hell?!"
A key clattered onto the floor.
Kim squinted at the doorway.
"Yerin? What are you doing in my dorm and who gave you the key?"
Seo Yerin stood there, arms crossed, cheeks flushed red, glaring at him like she'd caught him committing a crime.
"Why do you care?" she snapped. "And I came because I thought you weren't going to show up for our date."
After a moment of silence "Date?" Kim blinked.
"I invited you out for a lunch,"
he said slowly.
"I didn't say it was a–"
Before he could finish, Yerin grabbed his wrist and yanked him off the chair.
"Too late," she said. "You're coming."
As she dragged him toward the door, Kim caught the look on her face, annoyed, embarrassed, determined.
In her mind, only one word echoed.
