Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Changes

"Almost there." Above a certain stretch of azure sea, a massive shadow swept across the water's surface.

Looking closely, it was a colossal creature several hundred meters long with a wingspan of nearly a thousand meters.

Its entire body was covered in pure white scales, and every flap of its massive blue wings stirred up howling gales. Its head was majestic and beautiful, with winding dragon horns shimmering with a cold light, and its purple draconic eyes looked down upon the boundless ocean below.

This was Charlotte Linlin's fully transformed beast form—a Western white dragon brimming with might and beauty.

As Charlotte Linlin flew, her field of vision was gradually occupied by an incredibly spectacular sight—the Red Line, a crimson continent that encircled the planet like an eternal giant python.

She couldn't help but slow down slightly, her massive purple dragon eyes staring at that seemingly endless crimson precipice.

The continent towered into the clouds, as if dividing the entire world; its scale was so magnificent that it surpassed any description of a natural creation.

The rock walls were as steep as if carved by knives and axes, showing an oppressive dark red under the sunlight, as if soaked in the dust of countless ages and unwashed blood.

"So this is the Red Line?"

Even with her current massive dragon body, she still felt a sense of her own insignificance and shock before this continent.

As she continued to observe, a startling thought emerged in her mind:

"This is by no means a naturally formed landscape! These steep cliffs and the way it encircles the world don't look natural no matter how you look at it."

"Could this have been forcibly shaped by someone to divide the entire world?"

This thought sent a chill through her.

"But if this really is man-made... then just how terrifyingly powerful would the being who created all this have to be? Does the current Imu possess such power?"

She immediately thought of the mysterious master of the throne deep within Mary Geoise, as well as the bizarre fall of Rocks in the future.

Given Rocks' strength, even if he couldn't beat the combined forces of Roger and Garp, he should have had the ability to leave. Why would he fight to the death without retreating? It feels like his death is inextricably linked to Imu.

"It seems this world isn't as simple as it appears on the surface; I still need to be cautious. Before I can punch through this continent—no! Before I have the power to destroy a planet, it's better to keep a low profile."

Composing herself, she shifted her gaze away from the Red Line and toward the fantastical archipelago ahead, shrouded in countless giant soap bubbles—the Sabaody Archipelago.

Long periods of extreme flight had consumed a massive amount of energy, even with the powerful constitution of her Mythical Zoan Type, and a hollow sense of hunger came from her stomach.

"However, if I want to enter Sabaody, landing directly might be a bit troublesome," she thought to herself.

Regardless of which form she used to enter Sabaody, as long as she landed directly, it would likely cause a huge commotion and put the Marine on alert. This conflicted with her original intention of quietly gathering information and seeing this fantastical island.

At that moment, her gaze caught a merchant ship sailing toward the Sabaody Archipelago.

"Got it!"

...Meanwhile, on the deck of the merchant ship.

A new Crew member, who looked like he had just joined the ship, recalled the pirate ship flying a Jolly Roger that had passed them earlier and asked the old Captain beside him nervously:

"Captain, won't we be robbed by those ferocious pirates if we enter the Sabaody Archipelago so openly? I heard it's the only way to the New World, and pirates are as numerous as cattle!"

Hearing this, the old Captain stroked his beard and laughed loudly, his tone carrying a bit of confidence and the intent to teach his junior:

"Hahaha, don't worry, kid! In the Sabaody Archipelago, especially near the official ports and the Naval Base, those pirates generally don't dare to be too reckless!"

"There are direct garrisons from the Marine Headquarters, Marineford! Unless they don't want to coat their ships to enter the New World anymore, they won't easily rob merchant ships openly on the island... Uh?!"

Before the old Captain could finish his sentence, he heard a dull 'thud,' as if some heavy object had landed on the deck.

He and the other Crew members instinctively looked back.

They saw a giant beauty nearly nine meters tall, with flowing pink hair, an extremely curvaceous figure, and a face that was stunningly beautiful yet majestic, standing in the middle of their deck! That iconic outfit and terrifying size... The old Captain's laughter stopped abruptly, his pupils shrank, and cold sweat instantly covered his forehead. His voice changed pitch as he screamed:

"Dragon... Dragon Swordsman! Charlotte Linlin!!"

The new Crew member had obviously never heard this title. Completely captivated by the other's extraordinary beauty and unique charm, he murmured blankly:

"So... so beautiful!"

"Thud!" The old Captain was scared out of his wits. He slapped the new Crew member on the back of the head and roared in a low voice:

"Don't look! Do you want to die?! Lower your head!!"

The Captain, with his head bowed, wailed frantically in his heart: I'm going to die, I'm going to die, I'm going to die! Did I fail to check the fortune today?! How could I encounter this calamity! Isn't she on Hachinosu Island?! Why is she appearing here?!

He glared fiercely at the new member beside him, who was clutching his head with a wronged expression: This damn jinx! Just as I finished talking about pirates, one actually came! And it's a monster of this level!

The other Crew members and experienced guards on the cargo ship, upon hearing the name 'Charlotte Linlin' and the Captain's scream, didn't dare to look up at all. Each of them wished they could bury their heads in the deck, their bodies shaking like sieves.

Charlotte Linlin found the reactions of these people somewhat amusing and spoke:

"Oh? You recognized me? I didn't expect a pirate from the New World like me to be so famous in the Grand Line."

Hearing that she didn't seem to intend to act immediately, the old Captain breathed a slight sigh of relief, but he still didn't dare to look up, answering most respectfully:

"Bi... Big Sister, you must be joking! You... you were selected by the World Economic Journal for the 'Top Ten Most Beautiful Women in the World' list, a peerless beauty ranked third!"
