Cold mist rolled over a long bridge above the sea, and the fight here had just ended.
Ethan stood in the center of it, staring at two bodies that had not even been moved yet.

Ethan frowned at the broken status.
"As expected. Moving to another world made me lose some ability to adapt to the new world's rules."
The center of the bridge, right after Zabuza's fight against Kakashi.
Ethan's gaze shifted to two bodies lying close together, hands still clasped as they refused to separate even in death.
"So this is Naruto's world, but the timeline is too early."
He sighed and shook his head.
Ethan goal was simple, gather the strongest shadows he could, but at this point in time most of this world was still weak.
'Kaguya should still be sealed. Naruto is still growing. Sasuke is still nowhere near his peak.'
Ethan stepped closer and looked down at them. "But you two are worthy."
He raised his hand.
Shadow pooled beneath his feet, crawling forward like a tentacle.
"Arise."
The bridge trembled. Darkness surged from the gaps between planks and wrapped around Zabuza and Haku, thick smoke turning into chains that pulled their souls back.
Zabuza's body jerked first.
His eyes snapped open with a dull glow, then the glow deepened into a cold blue-black light as shadow spread through his veins.
Haku followed a moment later.
Zabuza tried to move, then froze as pressure crashed down on him.
It was shadow authority.
He gritted his teeth and forced himself up on one knee. Shadow smoke curled from his shoulders like a cloak.
He could not speak, but his stare locked onto Ethan, clearly questioning if Ethan was worthy to serve.
Haku lowered himself beside Zabuza without hesitation.
He did could say a word either, but his expression is filled with zeal.
Haku could feel a presences that finally he could call a home.
Ethan could tell their intention.
Pride, anger, and resignation mixed together in Zabuza's eyes.
Loyalty, quiet resolve, and a hint of relief sat behind Haku's calm gaze.
But both of them knelt under the Shadow Monarch's authority.
They existed only to serve.
Ethan nodded and checked their status. "Good."

Ethan read through the status and felt satisfied. "Nice."
The sea under the bridge suddenly roared.
The mist shook as if something huge had appeared beneath it.
The space twisted than shatter like a mirror.
A spiderweb tear opened above the water, pulling mist into it.
"Another dimension break?"
The tear widened, and a massive silhouette pushed through.
First a claw, then a lizard head.
A huge monster came out of the rift, distorting the world around it.
Godzilla rose from the sea.
Water exploded off its scales. Its dorsal plates glowed faintly under the fog like blue embers.
Ethan stared for a second, then laughed. "This is nice. They send Godzilla as my welcoming reward."
He pointed casually. "Both of you. Fight it."
Zabuza made his move.
Shadow mist rolled from his feet, then mixed into chakra mist as he exhaled and thickened the fog until the bridge vanished.
Haku moved beside him, eyes fixed on the kaiju as he searched for its weakness.
Godzilla turned toward them. The fog parted as it let out a roar.
"ROARRRRRR!!!"
Zabuza pulled the Kubikiribocho from shadow. The huge blade formed in his hands.
Haku's used his ice release. Frost gathered around his palms.
Godzilla stepped forward, and the bridge snapped under its strength.
Water surged upward through the broken gaps.
Zabuza formed seals with one hand and split a Water Clone into the fog.
The clone dashed straight in.
Godzilla reacted instantly.
BAM!!!!
Its claw slammed down, splintering the bridge, and the clone burst apart into water.
Zabuza moved the moment Godzilla destroyed part of the bridge.
Haku vanished into the fog.
SWOSSH!!!!
Sharp needles shot out, hitting the eye corners and the softer flesh near the nostrils.
Godzilla blinked, and the needles bounced off the eyelid.
"GRROAAAR!!"
Godzilla swung at Haku, but Haku was already gone.
He slipped into the mist and reappeared a few steps away.
Godzilla swept across the bridge.
Claws tore through planks and ropes like paper.
BAM! BAM!
Ethan jumped back as the bridge collapsed.
Broken boards and beams dropped into the sea.
"Kaisel."
His shadow stretched beneath him.
A winged shape pushed out of the darkness. The wyvern climbed into the air.
Ethan landed on its back and steadied himself as Kaisel rose above the mist.
He looked down at the two shadows fighting below. Ethan still wanted to see Zabuza and Haku's strength first, so he didn't help.
Zabuza's hands flashed through seals again.
A dragon-shaped torrent rose from the sea and slammed into Godzilla.
Ethan recognized it instantly. 'Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet.'
The impact did not push the kaiju back, but it forced the head to turn.
Zabuza moved with the Kubikiribocho raised and brought it down, targeting Godzilla's wrist.
BAM!!!
The wound was shallow, barely cutting through its scales.
Haku dropped a palm to the water below the broken bridge.
Ice spread across the surface and climbed the arm in sharp icicles.
It wrapped the claw joints and the palm, then started cracking as Godzilla began to move.
Zabuza struck again at the same spot, this time using all his strength.
SLASH!!!
Red blood dripped through the scales as this time he cut into its flesh.
"GROARRR!!!!" Godzilla roared, dispersing the fog.
Zabuza pushed more chakra into the fog, and the mist surged back in, hiding their presence again.
Haku formed seals.
Mirrors began to form on floating ice sheets and broken bridge pieces.
Ethan smiled seeing the jutsu.
'Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals. I always wonder how this ability work, but even after seeing it I don't understand"
Ethan always wonder just how Haku could use space time ninjutsu as this allow him to move trough the mirror just like teleportation.
SWOSSH!!!!
Haku stepped out from one mirror right at Godzilla's mouth.
Sharp needles shot through the gap of its teeth, targeting the inside of its mouth.
Godzilla jerked its head and snarled.
Then it opened its jaw wider and bit toward Haku.
CRASH!!!
The ice mirrors shattered.
Haku slipped away through the next reflection and appeared again, now right in front of Godzilla's eyes.
SWOSSH!! SWOSS!!!
He shot a cluster of sharp needles into one eye.
"GROOARR!!!"
Godzilla's head slammed sideways.
That eye clamped shut, and the roar that followed shook the bridge harder than before.
Red blood dripped from its eye.
Its tail suddenly swept through the fog and caught Haku off guard.
BAM!!!
Haku threw up a sheet of ice like a wall, but it shattered before he could shift through another mirror.
He was sent flying across broken planks and ice fragments.
Zabuza sprinted forward while forming a seal.
A rising sheet of water slammed into Haku, changing his direction and pulling him out of the tail's follow-up attaack.
Zabuza caught Haku by the collar and dragged him into the thickest part of the mist.
Haku's face was cracked, but it already begin to heal.
Godzilla's dorsal plates began to glow in sequence. The light rolled up its back, and steam poured off its shoulders.
Ethan hovered above on Kaisel. "Is this the famous atomic breath?"
Blue-white light gathered deep in Godzilla's throat.
