It's been two weeks, Jordan and Lisa have been getting closer and closer but it's still a blur when it comes to their situation, they're both keeping a distance from the subject of love and relationships.
Just like every night, Jordan is coming back from the gym, he is drenched in sweat and his gym is 10 minutes away from Lisa's place but he always walks past it when he comes back from the gym but this time things took an interesting turn.
Lisa spotted him walking in his black gym attire, "Jordan!", Lisa shouted from her second floor window, he stopped and turned to his right side, "Hey, how are you doing?", he asked with a delightful smile, she picked up a glass, "I'm bored, come up. Room 24", she said, leaning onto the window and arching her back, he looked up at her, "Alright..", he said hesitantly.
She watched him walk into the gate and then she closed her window and curtains, about 5 minutes later, she heard 3 knocks at the door, she put her glass down on the table and then she rushed to open the door. "Hey", she said with excitement, she let him in and then she tried to give him a hug, "Oh I'm sweaty", he said, stopping her from reaching closer.
"I don't mind", she said, walking closer to him, he scoffed with a smile and then he pulled her in, she closed her eyes as if he smells like the garden of roses. "You're hungry?", she asked as she walked to the couch, he put his bag down and took off his shoes at the door, "Yes ma'am", he said, walking into her space.
"You got a beautiful place Lisa", he added and then he joined her in the couch, "You seem uncomfortable", she said with concern in her eyes, he chuckles and looks at her under the bright light, "It's just that I usually take a shower after the gym, I don't like stinking", he said, sniffing his shirt.
She laughed and stood up, "I can borrow you my baggy sweatpants, they're black and I bought them in the guys' section, and I got a bunch of shirts that you can choose from", she said, walking into the bedroom, he stood up immediately, "For real? Most people don't like somebody else using their shower", he said.
"The shower is this side", she said, he walked into the door that she pointed him to, "Help yourself, there's a black towel behind the door", she said calmy. She closed the door and went back to the couch, she carried on watching the show that she had on, Zara walked in and shouted, "Hey Girl!".
Lisa stood up in a rush to shush Zara's loudness, "Keep it down Zara", she said, looking into her bedroom, Zara opened her mouth wide with shock, "What? Who's in here? I hear your water running".
Lisa smiled and tried to get Zara out of the apartment, "I'll call you, later. I promise", Lisa said, desperately wanting to keep the guy in the shower unknown of. "You've been seeing a guy?", Zara asked, walking towards the door with the help of Lisa's hands pushing her.
Lisa didn't respond to Zara's question, instead she shut the door as soon as Zara stepped out of the door, then she went back to the comfy couch in distress.
20 minutes later, Jordan walked out of the shower with a black towel wrapped below his waist, "Uhm, the clothes?", he asked, she looked at him and almost couldn't string her words together, his abs and wet hair made her body feel highly attracted to him, it must've been the wine too.
She bounced back to earth, "Oh, let me..", she stammered, she stood up and walked passed him, into the bedroom, she opened the wardrobe and waited for him, he chuckled to her funny behavior, he purposely walked and stood close to her, breathing into her shoulder and ear, "Uhm, I'm cool with those sweatpants you told me about and, give me any shirt, as long as it's black", he said.
She gasped for a moment as this handsome guy plants his body an inch away from her body, she cleared her throat and grabbed the sweatpants and a black plain shirt, then she walked out of the room.
"These fit perfect, thank you for the shower, it really helped", he said, she chuckled, "I hope now you'll be comfortable", she said while she dished up food on two plates in the kitchen, he sat down on the couch, enjoying the view of Lisa doing her favorite thing, cooking.
"Being in your space like this makes me feel so close to you", he said in a calm tone, she smiled and kept her focus on dishing up. He stood up and strolled to the kitchen, where she's standing, just behind her, "You know.. I really appreciate you letting me in your space, for fixing me a plate", he whispered in her ear.
She cleared her throat again, while she tries to keep her control but his body is pressed against her ass and he's breathing over her shoulder, "It's the least I can do after all the hours you spent helping me with my assignment", she said with a deep sigh. He placed his hand around her neck, she turned around and looked through the windows of his soul, "What are you doing?", she asked in a low tone, he smiled as he leaned in closer, he closed his eyes a few seconds before she closed hers too, then they shared a slow, passionate kiss for a moment.

It was a cloudy day outside, pretty busy around the campus. Jordan is seated at the table in the cafeteria, eating a cupcake and drinking coffee while he watches a movie in his laptop, suddenly he feels a hand on his shoulder, "Mind if we share?", Lisa said. He smiled to his ears when he heard he voice, she walked by his side in a long, red dress, he watched her behind until she turned to his direction to take a seat.
"Hey stranger", she said as soon as she settled down, "You look good", he said with a naughty face, she grabbed his cupcake and she took a bite on the same spot he'd took a bite on, while she looked at him with seductive eyes. He scoffed and shook his head, "We've been meeting outdoors and around the campus for two weeks, are you hiding me from your folks?", she asked, he took a sip of his coffee, he paused the movie, "Why would I hide such a pretty face?", he asked.
She rolled her eyes and stood up, he looked up at her and held her hand, "You want to watch a movie?", he asked, she nodded and planted a quick kiss on his lips, "I'll see you later, I'm already late for class", she said and then she rushed out of the cafeteria.
He resumed the movie and drank the rest of his coffee, his cupcake went along with Lisa. A few minutes later, Theo came in and joined Jordan in his table.
"Jordan!", "Theodore, what's that look?", he asked curiously, Theo laughed before he said, "You've been scarce lately, you and the girl of your dreams in fact", Jordan shook his head with a guilty smile, "Her name is Lisa", he said.
Theo took a sip of his beverage, "Tell me more", he said with his eyes filled with interest. Jordan kept writing his notes instead of spilling the beans, "Oh okay, you're going to keep it all to yourself, I'm your best friend!", Theo said with a chuckle, Jordan laughed at his misery.
"Brother, this one is nothing like the other times but I'm kind of laid back emotionally because it feels dangerous", he said with dismay. Theo looked at him with an intrigued look on his face. Jordan cleared his throat and looked around the cafeteria, "I don't know but I've never loved anybody before, you know that and I-", before he could finish his thought, Theo interrupted, "Because you're scared of being hurt!".
Jordan scoffed, "The thing is, love is a lot, from what I've seen and I don't wanna be captured by something, not when I got all this other shit going on in my life. I really like her, she's fun and she keeps pulling me closer and closer", he said with a deep sigh, clearly he has never been in love before.
"Jordan, Lisa seems like a good person and I think you're thinking too much about it, sometimes you just gotta let it be, if your heart breaks, then you won't do it again", Theodore said. Jordan nodded, "I hear you but, why do I have to give it a shot if it's gonna blow up in my face anyway? Look around us, most of the girls that I've fucked were already taken, what if that's the world we live in now, what if..".
Theo stood his ground and said, "Shut up! Stop doing this to yourself, just go to Lisa and have an honest conversation with her, maybe she will enlighten your confusion".

It seems like the new girl has gotten through Jordan's thick walls, for so long he has been running away from love and now it seems like Lisa has sent a cupid through his chest. He is known for being a player, his reputation is well attested to by the long list of names that he has been involved with in the last 6 months in this campus.
