Lilian read the message sent to Dante before looking up from the velvet armchair in their Imperial Suite. It was sent by email, the same content with Adrian's and Lucien's summoning invitations.
"So it's about him," she said quietly.
Dante did not say anything. He only stood by the window, his back silhouetted on the glass windows, sharp against the darkness before dawn in Vienna skyline.
Lucien leaned against the bar, already dressed in formal suit, swirling a red liquid in his glass but not drinking it. "Konstantin wouldn't reconvene this fast unless the other seats were howling. Alexi is stepping on too many toes in the East. He's disrupting the tax flow and the territory lines."
