Maddy watched as her eldest was launched like a cannonball, taking a deep breath and letting her muscles relax, as if they had been wound tight and were about to cramp.
"Whoa… that really sent him flying. I guess he didn't see my Shiny Shield… Gosh, I love this skill! Just like when I threw that Queen Spider. Looks like it works just as well with spiders!"
Arach's massive frame tore through the wall, making Maddy scream.
"NO! I… I got too excited fighting him… I didn't hold back! My whole home—"
