Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Unlocking the Limitless Technique

In the blink of an eye, the world changed.

The scenery shifted from a lavish hotel to a dim, damp prison. The scent of expensive perfume was replaced by the overwhelming stench of filth and decay. Before Su Mu could process what had happened—

CLANG!

The sound of metal striking metal echoed through the room, making Su Mu's body tremble instinctively. This body had been conditioned to fear that sound.

Through the dim light, several tall men approached, shoving containers of a murky, viscous liquid into the metal cages. When they reached Su Mu's cell, one of the thugs sneered:

"Hey, boss, this kid is still alive. He's like a cockroach."

The leader—a bald man covered in ferocious tattoos—glanced at Su Mu with cold indifference before warning his subordinate:

"Don't touch him yet. The deal is going down soon. Dead organs aren't fresh, and the price will drop. Keep him breathing."

"Yeah, yeah, I get it..." The subordinate nodded quickly, then turned to glare at Su Mu. He subconsciously touched a scarred wound on his palm and hissed, "Kid, you're lucky for now..."

"Organ trafficking!"

As the men walked away, Su Mu pieced the situation together. Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through his brain as a flood of fractured memory fragments poured in.

The original owner of this body, also named Su Mu, was an ordinary college student who had awakened mutant powers a month ago. He had used those powers to survive a house fire, but his luck ended there. His parents, disgusted by his mutant nature, kicked him out. Shortly after, he was hunted by a mysterious organization, abducted by a gang in Hell's Kitchen, and thrown into this underground hole.

The man who had glared at him was Jim, his captor. During the kidnapping, Su Mu had fought back, nearly biting a chunk of meat off Jim's hand.

Looking down at his skin, Su Mu saw pus-filled sores and bruises hidden under his tattered clothes. The original Su Mu had likely died from infection and abuse. But the immediate crisis was worse: In one week, he would be sold and slaughtered like livestock.

Moreover, this world was terrifyingly familiar. Mutants. Stark Industries. This was the Marvel Universe.

Even if he escaped the gang, how would he survive the "Snap" that would eventually wipe out half the universe? Su Mu didn't want to bet his life on a 50/50 coin toss.

Is this the MCU or the comics? Su Mu shivered. If it was the comics, the danger was exponentially higher.

As for his "superpower"... if it were actually strong, he wouldn't be in a cage. His ability was Energy Absorption, similar to Sebastian Shaw, the Black Emperor. However, in his current state, it was pathetic. He couldn't even fully absorb the kinetic energy of a punch, let alone a bullet.

Just as despair began to set in, a cold, mechanical voice echoed in his mind.

Su Mu's vision transformed instantly. He could see everything—the dust motes dancing in the air, the layout of the cells behind him, and faint blue lines of light pulsing through the walls. Those were electrical currents, visible only through the Six Eyes.

He felt a surge of hope. Even if he only had a fraction of Gojo Satoru's power, he could dominate this world.

Footsteps approached again. It was Jim. He stopped at Su Mu's cell and gave a sadistic grin.

"Yellow-skinned brat, I'll let you live one more day. But tomorrow? I'm going to have some fun with you."

With a sneer, Jim unzipped his pants and began to urinate into the bowl of gruel on the floor. He expected to see Su Mu beg or cry, but instead, Su Mu just stared at him with an eerie, indifferent calm—as if looking at a corpse.

Annoyed by the lack of reaction, Jim spat on the floor and walked away.

Su Mu looked at the ruined food. He was starving, but he wouldn't touch that filth. He had work to do.

Positioning himself to block the view of the dim wall lamp behind him, he used a coughing fit to mask the sound of him shattering the lamp's glass cover. He palmed a shard of glass and reached back, touching his finger to the exposed filament.

With the Six Eyes, he could now "see" the electricity. He began to draw the current into his body with surgical precision.

[Energy Point +1... +1... +1] [Energy Absorption Experience +1... +1]

Hours passed. Su Mu sat like a statue, hidden in the shadows, fueled by a cold rage. Finally, the system chimed again.

[Template Fusion: 5%] [New Skill Unlocked: Infinity (Limitless Technique)!] [Skill Upgraded: Energy Absorption has reached Lv. 2!]

Su Mu opened his eyes. The blue glow within them flickered dangerously.

Tomorrow, Jim. I'll be waiting.
