Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: A Name That Refused to Fade

Hina didn't look back.

She couldn't.

If she did, she might run to him. She might scream his name. She might beg him to remember.

Aren Kiyoshi… you promised.

She ducked into a quiet café, hands shaking as she ordered tea she wouldn't drink.

Three years ago, Aren had stood in the same rain and sworn—

"No matter how many times the world resets… I'll find you."

Now, he couldn't even recognize her face.Across the street, Aren paused mid-step.

Why did his chest hurt?

Why did that girl's voice echo in his head?

That night, Aren dreamed.

A girl standing beneath a sakura tree.

A hand reaching for his.

A voice whispering—

"If you forget me… I'll remember for both of us."

He woke up gasping.

"Hina…" he murmured.

But he didn't know why.
