Fire Release—Grand Fireball Technique!
Li Chuan formed hand seals and exhaled a large fireball, which slammed heavily onto the mountain of weapons piled in front of the cave.
A thunderous explosion rang out, and all the explosives detonated in succession, with flames soaring into the sky. Moments later, the entire valley had completely collapsed.
His actions were not only to attract the attention of the Military forces searching for Tony but, more importantly, to eliminate any traces of his activities.
"Mission: Kill Raza and Destroy His Base. Completed. Mission reward has been issued to the mission space."
As the explosion ended, a pleasant mission prompt sounded in Li Chuan's ear.
Meanwhile, Tony and Ethan, standing beside him, had their eyes wide open.
"Have I been without the Sun for too long? My eyes are playing tricks on me. I saw him spit a large fireball from his mouth!"
"Actually… I saw it too!"
What had they just seen? They had actually seen Li Chuan simply spit a large fireball from his mouth.
If Li Chuan's abilities before were within the realm of surprising but understandable, then the act of spitting a large fireball from his mouth had completely shattered their understanding.
Changing one's appearance, in Tony's understanding, was not impossible if one made good use of holographic imaging technology.
So, apart from his initial surprise, he wasn't as surprised later. He even thought that perhaps Li Chuan was carrying some high-tech holographic imaging product.
As for one person taking out an entire Base of Terrorists, while frightening, it wasn't unacceptable; it just meant his combat abilities were extremely powerful.
However, with a spit from his mouth, a fireball almost as large as a person spewed out. This truly couldn't be explained by science.
Was Li Chuan a robot, with a flamethrower device in his mouth, spewing flames using gasoline from his stomach as fuel?
Well, that was clearly not the correct answer.
"The rescue team will probably be here soon. I hope you can keep my secret, because I don't want to be entangled with S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA. They are very troublesome!"
Li Chuan looked at Tony and Ethan, whose mouths were wide open, with a somewhat helpless expression.
"Of course, we won't tell anyone about you. But I know HYDRA. Weren't they annihilated during World War II? And what is S.H.I.E.L.D.?"
Tony nodded, then asked with some confusion.
The organization HYDRA is probably known by every American, as it is the main villain in Captain America's animations, movies, and plays.
It is also recorded in textbooks.
He even often heard his father, Howard, mention Captain America when he was young. The two were once good friends and fought together.
But everyone knew that this organization had been destroyed by Captain America back in World War II, and Captain America had sacrificed himself as a result.
As for S.H.I.E.L.D., he had never heard of it at all.
"You actually don't know S.H.I.E.L.D.? That's the organization your father founded?"
Li Chuan deliberately put on a surprised look.
And Tony was clearly more surprised than him:
"My father?"
"Alright, let me briefly explain. S.H.I.E.L.D.'s full name is the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. It was founded by your father, Peggy Carter, and Chester Phillips.
It has now developed into a global organization, aiming to maintain the safety of the entire Earth. Its main purpose is to deal with terrorist organizations that may endanger Earth's security, people with superpowers and special abilities, and potential extraterrestrials, and so on.
It's similar to me, someone with special abilities. Once discovered, I would probably be immediately arrested and imprisoned. Even if I did nothing wrong, I would be monitored for life, with no freedom to speak of."
Li Chuan generally introduced the situation of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Tony frowned:
"They are truly overbearing. No one can control others' freedom like that, as long as it doesn't violate the law."
Having just been kidnapped and imprisoned for nearly a month, Tony now most resented such acts of controlling others' freedom.
"Actually, if it were just that, it would be fine. But as far as I know, the current S.H.I.E.L.D. is not so pure, because their interior has already been infiltrated by HYDRA Agents.
At least I know that the true identities of several high-ranking Agents are actually HYDRA, and it's laughable that their Director, that guy named Nick Fury, doesn't know anything about it.
So, for someone like me, once discovered by them, the likely outcome would be to be secretly transferred by HYDRA Agents, then dissected for human experimentation!"
Li Chuan spread his hands.
Hearing Li Chuan's words, Tony's expression also became serious.
"Don't worry, Chuan, neither Ethan nor I will reveal your information if anyone asks."
"Haha, no need to be so serious. Just knowing is enough. If they really try to deal with me, I'm not to be trifled with either."
Li Chuan's face showed a hint of coldness at this, while Tony and Ethan subconsciously nodded.
Actually, these words he just spoke were deliberately for Tony to hear.
Previously, when Garrett and those HYDRA people caused him trouble, he didn't retaliate because it wasn't good to completely fall out with HYDRA at the moment, but that didn't mean the matter was over.
He had thought about exposing HYDRA's identity to Nick Fury, but firstly, why would Nick Fury believe him, a stranger, and not believe his old superior who passed the Director position to him, and his personally trained subordinates?
Secondly, even if he could make Nick Fury suspicious, it would put himself in the spotlight, killing a thousand to harm eight hundred of himself, which was not worth it.
Later, he thought perhaps he could remain anonymous and reveal the matter to Nick Fury without exposing his identity, for example, by using Transformation Technique to infiltrate S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters and leave a note or something.
But it would still be difficult to make Nick Fury believe it. If it went wrong and HYDRA discovered it first and acted against the few true Agents S.H.I.E.L.D. had, then S.H.I.E.L.D. would be finished prematurely.
Crucially, for Li Chuan, S.H.I.E.L.D. was not much better than HYDRA. Letting them fight among themselves was what he truly wanted to see.
So, he first leaked this information to Tony, and then later, through Tony, to Nick Fury. This would neither expose himself nor truly make Nick Fury vigilant.
Then, let S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA fight each other, while he himself slowly developed.
Similarly, he could also win over Tony, so that he wouldn't completely side with S.H.I.E.L.D.
In the original movie, Tony was always wary of S.H.I.E.L.D. and didn't trust them much, and he disliked many of their practices.
"Your rescuers are here. I'll be leaving first!"
Looking at the faint black dots appearing in the distance, Li Chuan knew that the rescue team had discovered the anomaly here and were rushing over to investigate.
