Ye Jun had no clue what that light was, but he wasn't willing to take any chances either. Ignoring his exhaustion and fatigue, he pulled himself back to his feet and went toward the bloodied Ye Chen.
'Talisman!'
His eyes widened in surprise, but that lasted only for a moment. In the next second, he kicked Ye Chen between his legs with all of his force. The impact earned him another round of shivering screams.
He was going for the second strike, but Ye Chen's body turned into light before vanishing completely, leaving the burial chamber empty.
"Haah! Haah!"
Ye Jun panted hard as he stumbled back onto his butt and sat down. He cursed between breaths. "Damn it! How did he get a Talisman like that?"
The Talisman's purpose was clear. It allowed the user to escape from a predicament smoothly. It was a powerful and helpful function, and Ye Jun knew his clan couldn't afford something like that.
