After eating his afternoon meal, Huang Shi stepped outside of the log cabin and breathed in the fresh air. He looked through the forest, trying to find any sort of signs of his previous confrontation with his mother-in-law, but he truly couldn't find any; it really felt as if she had just snapped her fingers and time went backwards.
Hey system, can't you give me a hint at what cultivation level that woman was at?
[Unless the host wants to expose himself in the eyes of those cultivators, then the system can tell the host the information he needs]
Huang Shi instantly scowled as he shook his head, before placing his hands at the back of his head and starting to walk into the distance.
Ah, whatever, don't tell me then. I'll be as strong as those guys in the future anyway.
[The system applauds the host for his confidence]
Huang Shi was walking for quite a while until he saw his first opponent for the day, and surprisingly, it was a familiar opponent.
Hmm? Interesting. It's this bastard again, eh?
The spiritual beast that was in front of Huang Shi was actually a spiritual beast that he had previously beaten, although he took quite a lot of time to beat him at the time because he hadn't yet mastered his strength.
"White King Lion again? You fucking cat bastards really know how to get on my damn nerves, don't you?"
Huang Shi shook his head as the White King Lion—which was actually at the 7th level of the Nascent Profound Realm, one level higher than the one he previously fought—roared at him aggressively, while three female White King Lions at the 6th level of the Nascent Profound Realm surrounded him.
Huang Shi cracked his neck and had a grin on his face, as he thought that these guys would be a great warmup for his new round of training.
Alright, this time I won't be using any of my golden flames; I'll only be using my crimson lightning. It's clear to me now that I'm not as proficient at using my crimson lightning in comparison to my golden flames, probably because I literally just got them.
Huang Shi remembered his previous life-and-death battle with those elders of the Disciplinary Hall, especially Huang Bai at the end, which still made him feel a slight sense of fear inside of his heart.
Shit... if I didn't damn figure out that I could use the golden sun inside of my body as a projection and attack my enemies with it, I don't fucking know how I would have beaten that damn demon.
Huang Shi shivered slightly before instantly forcing himself into a state of calm, as he quickly realized that there was no time for him to think about these things at the moment as he currently had a fight on his hands.
ROAR!!
The male White King Lion, seeing that its target was distracted, instantly raised its head as, once again, the single horn at the top of its forehead started to shine with a powerful blue light.
Instantly, three ice clones appeared all around its body, all of which held the power of the 7th level of the Nascent Profound Realm, giving off an intimidating air of power before instantly rushing straight towards him together with the three female White King Lionesses.
Just as he thought that this was all the White King Lion would do, its singular horn glowed for a second time as the area roughly thirty meters around them instantly turned into a blizzard. The trees, the shrubs, the grass, and even the ground began to turn blue, filling with ice and snow.
Huang Shi, on the other hand, just stood in place waiting for the White King Lion to perform all of its tricks. In fact, he acted as if he hadn't even seen the setups it did, as he just stared at it in mock silence.
Heh.
Right as the first White King Lion ice clone—the one at the 7th level of the Nascent Profound Realm—had reached him, crimson lightning appeared all over his body. He suddenly disappeared from his previous position and appeared right in front of it.
He raised his fist, filling it with crimson lightning bolts that shone with a terrifying crimson hue, and instantly delivered a simple punch without any sort of fanfare.
BOOM!
The instant his fist, coated with crimson lightning bolts, made contact with the White King Lion ice clone, the beast didn't even have time to stage a counterattack or do anything for that matter; the ice clone instantly exploded, shattering into a million pieces as the lightning destroyed its body from the inside.
One.
WHOOSH!
Without waiting for the White King Lion to react, he instantly disappeared from where he was and appeared to his right. His body flashed with a crimson light as he dodged a swipe from a claw made of ice by moving rapidly to his left before raising his left leg and kicking straight at its ribs from the side.
BOOM!
His kick, which was once again filled with crimson bolts of lightning, ripped through the ice clone like a knife through butter as his target once again shattered into millions of pieces, its body being destroyed from the inside out.
Two.
Just as he was about to rush towards the third and last ice clone, one of the female White King Lionesses arrived at his side, its jaw opening wide in an attack. Clearly, it was trying to take advantage of the fact that he was preoccupied with the ice clones to launch a sneak attack.
Unfortunately for this lion, unless it somehow was able to double its speed in an instant, this sneak attack would never have a chance of succeeding.
Right at the moment the lioness's jaws were about to bite into him from behind, he suddenly ducked down to the ground, causing the lioness's momentum to send it barreling forwards, gliding through the air.
Seeing his chance, Huang Shi instantly stood up from his position and punched straight with his right fist, hitting the lion right in its bum.
BOOM!
