The party that came after was loud and crazy, just like Rex would have expected from a demon party. Long tables appeared out of nowhere, full of food and drink that looked bad but were apparently considered delicacies in demon culture.
Music played at levels that would have been seen as assault with a deadly weapon on the surface. Demons danced, fought, argued, and laughed with a wild energy that came from beings who didn't care about being polite.
Rex watched everything with a detached interest, taking mental notes on the demon social hierarchy and cultural practices while also keeping his mind on his real goal for the night.

'Well, at least they're happy to be used for me soon.'
'Now... this form, it seems like there are no side effects of anything.' Rex looked at himself. 'I didn't feel any negative effects on me, so I guess... this form can really be my second life.'
