Damian stepped out of the abandoned classroom with a sense of urgency. He had rushed out hoping he'd see a receding figure and hopefully make out who it was from the shape of the figure, but he had seen no one.
His heart hammered so loud he could hear it in his ears. The hallway was empty, but the fear clawed at his chest anyway. Had he been hallucinating? Or was his imagination playing games with him? No, he was certain that someone had been there, but who was it? Who had seen them? Who had stood in that doorway and watched Ethan's hands on his skin, their mouths moving together, the sounds they'd made?

The thought made his stomach twist. If it was her… God, if it was her, everything would explode. Ethan would lose her. He would lose Ethan. He would lose the fragile thing he'd just started rebuilding with Zayn. He didn't want that, he loved Amanda more than anything, and the thought of losing her made him feel like the whole world was about to end.
