"Who cares if it can talk!"
"Go, brothers!"
"One hundred Galleons!"
Chaos erupted again, and over thirty students surrounded him once more.
Lord Voldemort wanted to cry but had no tears.
In the chaos, Harry inadvertently walked in front of the Mirror of Erised.
The scene in the mirror made him pause.
His reflection in the mirror was putting a vibrant red stone into his pocket.
Harry subconsciously looked at his own pocket and suddenly felt a hard object inside.
He secretly reached in and touched it; there was indeed a stone-sized object.
This was the Philosopher's Stone?
Harry's heart jolted; just as he was about to tell Charlie about this discovery, he felt a strong killing intent rush towards him.
Lord Voldemort also sensed the location of the Philosopher's Stone at the same time.
He had the Philosopher's Stone on him!
Lord Voldemort instantly ignored everyone's attacks, opening his gaping maw and charging towards Harry.
"Harry, look out!"
Hermione shrieked a warning.
Its speed was fast, but it also completely exposed itself to Charlie.
Charlie seized the opportunity, casting another Sectumsempra that precisely sliced towards Lord Voldemort.
Sectumsempra hit accurately, splitting Lord Voldemort's snake body in two.
Black blood splattered everywhere, but what was even more shocking was what happened next.
This time, there was no cover from darkness or thick fog, and Charlie saw it clearly.
A humanoid black mist slowly rose from the snake's corpse, twisting in the air to form a blurry human outline.
"Wh-what is this?"
Neville asked with a trembling voice.
The black mist suddenly turned and rushed straight for the Philosopher's Stone in Harry's pocket.
Charlie was quick-witted, waving his wand:
"Expecto Patronum!"
A silver-white phantom of a divine dragon instantly shot out from the tip of his wand, pouncing with fangs and claws towards Lord Voldemort's soul form.
The phantom dragon coiled around the black mist, and Lord Voldemort let out a shrill scream.
"Ahhh!"
Charlie was stunned.
Expecto Patronum actually worked?
He had only tried it out of curiosity, not expecting it to truly restrain this guy.
Thinking about it, it made sense; Lord Voldemort's current state was similar to a dark creature, so Expecto Patronum, specifically designed to deal with dark creatures, would naturally be effective.
"As expected of Charlie, he can even deal with a ghost like this!"
The students excitedly watched, completely unaware of how dangerous the black mist before them was.
The phantom dragon tightened its grip, and Lord Voldemort's cries of pain became increasingly desperate.
Charlie wanted to strike while the iron was hot, directly making him utterly vanish.
But no matter how much he strengthened the Spell's power, the phantom dragon just couldn't advance further.
Even though Lord Voldemort's phantom was already squeezed into a distorted mess, it simply wouldn't dissipate.
Finally, Lord Voldemort, unable to withstand the silver dragon's attack, shot upwards, escaping through a crack in the ceiling.
The students excitedly gathered around.
"Long live Charlie!" Ernie shouted excitedly.
"Hero of Hogwarts!" Justin echoed.
Other students also joined the cheering.
Since Charlie defeated the snake, those one hundred Galleons naturally belonged to Charlie.
But they could get ten Galleons, which was not a small sum.
"Ten Galleons, we have ten Galleons!"
The excited students surrounded Charlie, tossing him high into the air.
"Charlie! Charlie! Charlie!"
Charlie was tossed in mid-air, but his mind was on other things.
Was Lord Voldemort really this weak?
If he had known, he wouldn't have called for bodyguards.
Speaking of bodyguards, a bodyguard arrived.
"What are you doing!!"
A roar like a lioness came from the doorway.
Professor McGonagall stormed in furiously, her expression capable of killing a Troll.
The students instantly deflated, letting go and standing still with their heads down.
Charlie in mid-air:???
Thud!
Charlie fell to the ground, covered in dust.
Professor McGonagall's previously stern expression instantly broke.
"Merlin's beard, Charlie, are you alright?"
She rushed over, crouching down to check if Charlie was injured.
"I'm fine, but they're not."
Charlie got up, clutching his chest.
Who the hell dropped me on the ground? Your ten Galleons are gone!
Professor McGonagall pulled out her wand: "Scourgify!"
A white light flashed, and the dust on Charlie instantly vanished.
Seeing that Charlie was fine, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
"Professor." Harry walked over then, pulling a vibrant red stone from his pocket.
"We saved the Philosopher's Stone."
Professor McGonagall's expression was complex as she saw the Philosopher's Stone.
She had intended to severely reprimand these audacious students, but what could she say now?
They had indeed protected the Philosopher's Stone.
Surely they couldn't lose points after performing such a meritorious deed?
Professor McGonagall's tone softened slightly.
"You mustn't take such risks again!"
