Chapter 1 - Chapter one-Back home

Look I'm not going to start out with the whole spiel of "Oh my name is" no im getting right to it.

I'm a murderer

December 19,2xxx,Year of the serpent,District 13

This was the date that was written on my ticket back to my home town, along with my name,San Yunglee, and when it was to arrive at my stop.

I will admit I was nervous to go back,NOT that it was bad or anything,I left with my family when I was ten though...I can't remmeber too much of my childhood now that I'm twenty two. Not that it mattered since what memories I do have SEEMED happy.

I stepped upon the train hearing my feet tap agaisnt the metal floor always made my skin crawl,it always reminded me of the sounds of the vacant hallways back at the hospital how hollow everything sounded back then...

I shook my head and grabbed onto one of the rails as the train started moving,I looked around noticing the other passengers, some office workers,a few rag tag bunch of wanna be gangsters, and a few androids.

I looked back down at my ticket and then pulled out my phone checking the message that was also sent to me. I smiled looking at the formialir name, yet it also felt like a stranger's at the same time.

"Hey San! Heard you were coming back to this trash heap of a town! I'll see if I can get the others to meet back up at the burger joint -Jal Ke"

I have a small idea on which place he was talking about but I didn't have much time to think as the train came to a halt with a deafing screech and the monitors flashed a few warning signs.

I sighed knowing this probably a routine check up on the passengers and readied my ID card. Our Cards were what allowed us even the simplest of privileges, food, medical, dental,OUR LIVES.

An officer came in scanning the cards, his partner did the same and made his way over to me,his face plate flashes a few question marks but scanned mine and went along his way and the train started moving again.

A few hours later

My train finally came to a stop and stepped off onto the dirty platform and turned around to see my dusty home town with its smokey towers and rusty walls. I sighed putting the note away and pulled out my phone seeing the time was right yet hadn't seen anyone yet but thats when I heard her.

"Back so soon?" I turned to the voice,a soft tiny giggle, yet when I turned I saw no one. I laughed to myself thinking perhaps my nerves were messing with me and started to try and make way back to my old home.

I knew I should have probbaly waiting for Jal to show but it's been years and I didn't think I could recognize him and ANYONE could've shown up saying they were him.so I made my way past the rusty train station, broken down scrap yards, until I stumbled upon a group who were sitting at a nearby park.

I had a feeling I knew who they were and this was confirmed when one orange heard and bright fellow waved over at me and shouted "Hey San over here!" I was reluctant at first gripping my bag strap slightly then sighed and smiled making my way over.

"Hey everyone...been awhile huh?"
