Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Being ushered back into my room was unexpected, I thought I'd be straight up served on a cold platter of blood and terrible pain.

‎Had they decided to forgive me again?

‎At this point I couldn't help but question ‎what game they we playing.

‎They do not seem like the men I assumed them be. If locking me up and feeding me less is all they'd give me as punishment for trying to run away then I don't see how that was going to prevent me from doing otherwise. I wasn't going to complain about that though.

‎ Stepping down the stairs that led to the dinning hall, where I'm supposed to dine with my masters, I almost hissed at the loud clack clicks of the heels bestowed upon my feet. Who still wears this these days! It was not enough that I had to wear such overly grand gown, and make my hair and get a full on make up, I had to eat with them for who knows how long.

‎ I stared at the massive dinning hall, the magnanimity of it making me gasp. I had almost slipped down the stairs when I saw the two pairs of eyes burning and boring holes into me. What were they looking at.

‎ Dan with his usual cheerful smile. Whiles Don, the other twin, he ... he was not at all smiling.

However the expression on his face wasn't so good, who was I kidding, whatever emotions it was that surfaced on his face almost made my knees buckle in fear.

‎ That was because I knew even a slave master who had had his entire supply of slaves die on the truck ‎would not look at his supplier like that. His eyes were literally dripping with venom and this time he didn't even bother to hide it.

It suddenly occured to me that Dom had never made an appearance the days after the guards drug me back to the castle when I try to escape. Not even ones, unlike Dan who had always been there asking the whys and issuing the punishment, he was always absent. Now that I see it I couldn't un-see ...

‎Why had he been absent, who had sent him away, what had stopped him from coming to punish me himself. I had even naively let myself believe maybe Dom did not mind and that Dan was the vixen brother who just wouldn't let me be.

‎Seeing the eyes that dripped with such venom now, I couldn't help but thank whoever had saved me from this monster's hands.

I'm not going to play the fool and lie to myself that he had probably been sent on a business trip. A slave master always tamed his slaves before he set them free again and she had attempted to escape more times than few. That alone in itself was a call for unfathomable punishment, on the market she'd probably be dead now only her obedient little organs would be left for sale.

‎ Getting to the overly large dining table,I sat gingerly at a farther seat hopping I could leave immediately I finish my food.

‎Before my butt could touch the seat though, I heard that deep...deep and dark voice I had yet to hear for a while- question.

‎Come Pur...

‎He ushered from his seat at the very head of the table,Dan sat to his left and I assumed he wanted me to occupy the seat on his right. However there was something about that voice and beckoning that didn't seem at all like the endearment it was supposed to be.

‎From the other side I could feel Dan's eyes trail after me, whatever emotions swirled within them, I couldn't tell, but I thought I saw a flash of fear in there. Maybe my own fear was just deceiving me.

‎ W.. Wait... A sudden silence and then Dan continues, Come here instead little purple, I don't think brother is fully ready to receive you...

‎ And I don't know what that was supposed to mean or what possessed me for in a moment I was flying to Dan's side, not missing the dark eyes that trailed my behind or the ones that settled on Dan's face or their silent dark exchange and finally as I sat down I saw how Don, suddenly lowered his eyes to avoid mine the entire meal. The silence had grown heavy by the time we were done with our meal. And I so desperately wished to just escape and run back to my dungeon. Yes at this point I would see the dungeon as a paradise than being here.
