Chapter 4 - Chapter.4:The Clash Of Ice And Fire

The academy stood like a dark crown carved from stone.

A massive castle-like structure, towering above the mist-covered land, its sharp spires cutting through the clouds. Ancient symbols glowed faintly on its walls, and the iron gates of Valeria Academy slowly opened and closed as if breathing. The air around it felt alive—mysterious, dangerous, and strangely beautiful.

This was no ordinary school.

Suddenly, the sharp sound of a bike engine broke the silence.

A sleek black bike roared into the academy grounds and stopped right in front of the gates.

Instant chaos.

Girls gathered instantly, cheering, whispering, calling his name. Some blushed, some screamed, some just stared like they had seen a dream step into reality.

But he didn't look at them.

He removed his helmet slowly.

Auren Vale.

Six feet tall.

Black, silky-smooth emo pixie hairstyle falling slightly over his eyes.

A black leather jacket over a white T-shirt 🎽, a silver chain resting on his chest.

One earring in a single ear.

A muscular, perfectly built body, a black watch on his wrist.

The hottest, most dangerous boy on campus.

A little distance away, his friends stood laughing.

"Auren! Come here, we're waiting!" one girl from the group called out.

Auren glanced at them, gave a silent wink and a small, lazy smile, then parked his bike and walked toward his group.

Another group of students watched from the opposite side—jealous, irritated, whispering curses under their breath before walking away.

But Auren didn't care.

Because suddenly—

He felt it.

A massive soul.

A powerful aura unlike anything he had sensed before.

His expression changed slightly.

Something big is coming, he thought.

Something thrilling.

At that exact moment, a black car with maroon interior slowly stopped in front of the academy.

Silence fell.

Everyone turned.

The door opened.

A girl stepped out.

White, flawless skin.

Long, silky smooth hair flowing freely.

A black leather jacket over a black crop top.

Black toned jeans, cool dark glasses, shiny black high heels.

A black chain and bracelet—both with the same mysterious design.

And on her waist—

A serpent-shaped mole, clearly visible.

The air shifted.

Eman Valeria stepped forward and announced calmly,

"She is my daughter."

Luna Valeria.

All the boys stared, stunned.

But Luna didn't even glance at them.

She walked straight into the academy grounds, calm and unreadable.

As she crossed Auren—

She suddenly tripped.

Lost balance.

Before she could fall, a strong hand caught her.

Auren.

For a few seconds, the world froze.

Their eyes met.

And suddenly—

Clink… clink…

Luna's black chain began to sound softly.

Auren felt it too.

A massive aura surged from her.

He slowly removed his hand from her waist, his expression unreadable.

"I'm sorry," Luna said quietly.

"It's okay," Auren replied.

But Luna's heart raced.

Her mother had told her—

"This chain will sound only when a harmful power… or someone very special to your heart comes close."

Then why did it sound now?

Confused, she shook the thought away and went to the reception.

"Room number?" she asked.

"507. Fourth floor," the receptionist replied.

Luna went upstairs. Soon, the students returned to their dormitories.

When she entered her room—

Her breath stopped.

Auren.

And some of his friends.

Her roommates.

Shock flashed across her face 😳

Auren stepped forward.

"Why did you come here?"

"I'm your new roommate," Luna said calmly.

This time, Auren was shocked.

Without saying another word, he turned and walked out—but as he passed her, he intentionally dashed into her, throwing her to the ground.

Anger exploded inside Luna.

And that was his mistake.

Her power awakened.

Her eyes turned into swirling colors.

Half her body remained human—

The other half transformed into a serpent tail.

Wolf fur spread across her arms.

Vampire fangs appeared.

Witch-like nails extended from her fingers.

A fox aura crown formed above her head.

Rainbow wings like a phoenix spread wide.

A unicorn horn shimmered on her forehead.

Outside—

The weather turned violent.

A heavy storm crashed down.

Animals screamed.

The sky darkened.

Students watching from doors and windows froze in terror.

Inside the room, everyone stepped back—afraid.

Everyone except Auren.

He walked toward her calmly, eyes glowing with his own hidden power.

"Easy," he said mischievously.

"I'm not here to harm you… or beat you."

His voice was steady.

"Cool down."

Slowly, Luna returned to normal.

Silence.

She stood there, shocked.

This time—

She remembered everything.

Auren turned to his friends.

"Don't be afraid," he said simply.

But Luna knew—

Her life at Valeria Academy had truly begun.

And this was only the start of the mystery.
