"Why didn't you ask him for an explanation?"
Shinnosuke took a deep breath, suppressing his anger.
"His crimes should be judged by the Hokage."
"Not by you executing him on the spot."
"And you are not the Hokage."
"I'm acting under orders."
"What orders?"
"…."
Shinnosuke fell silent.
His order had been to stop Hiyū and prevent a direct war between clans.
Qianyu understood clearly and sneered.
"The Hokage's order was to prevent bloodshed."
"And now?"
"Bloodshed happened because he refused to stop."
"If you insist on blaming someone—blame the dead."
"But if you keep pushing—"
He glanced at the Sarutobi clansmen.
"They don't look like they're eager to fight anymore."

In an instant, the Uchiha felt like a pack of blood-eyed beasts, poised to strike.
Shinnosuke was shaken.
He never imagined that Fugaku—always cautious and restrained—would go this far for Qianyu.
But fighting the entire Police Force here—
The consequences were not something he could bear.
Shinnosuke hesitated, then turned his gaze to Shisui.

As an Uchiha who remained loyal to the Hokage—
Shisui was clearly the more suitable one to act…
