Chapter 54 - When the Doors Open

The light above the Core Token did not dim gradually.

It flared.

Pure white radiance burst outward from the hovering disc, washing the chamber walls in brilliance. The spiraled formation lines beneath their feet glowed in layered rings, each pulse node locking into place with audible resonance.

The violent fluctuations ceased.

Fire no longer snapped against lightning.

Wind no longer strained at its edges.

Earth no longer trembled beneath compensating pressure.

The token steadied fully.

A deep harmonic tone filled the chamber... not loud, but vast, as if the Pavilion itself were acknowledging completion.

"Group Four Hundred Seventeen," the neutral formation voice intoned, amplified through unseen arrays, "Core Token Stabilization successful."

The outer slots disengaged.

The formation circle dimmed.

Jin Yue did not move immediately.
