Chapter 27: Interact Play VR
A crimson glow flickered in Takumi's eyes as he activated the Hypnotic Demon Eye.
"What's your name?"
The sickle-head's gaze wavered for a second… then cleared. The red light in Takumi's eyes instantly shifted to gold.
The guy roared, "You better remember this!"
Clutching his battered crotch, he limped away.
Takumi blinked.
It failed.
The hypnosis had backfired into Intimidation instead. But the guy's willpower was way too high, and Takumi had only poured in a tiny bit of mana anyway—so the deterrence effect was basically nothing.
"Guess it doesn't always work…"
He'd gotten cocky after it worked perfectly on those three delinquent girls earlier. Plus, his mana pool was pathetically small. The fight alone had drained almost everything, leaving barely enough for a weak attempt just now.
I really need more mana soon. Gotta start conquering the other heroines. In Oni Chichi I, the two main girls give 46 and 37 points each. Even just a first-stage kiss would net me 28 points…
With only 12 points total right now, he was running on fumes. He could take his time with Nao's final stage, but speeding up conquests of the others was urgent. And if possible, he wanted a combat skill soon—too bad the Oni Chichi girls didn't know any martial arts.

"Hah! Censored? Uncensored? Pure, innocent me has no idea what you're talking about."
Haruto's grin widened, then he leaned in.
"It's a game disc. The kind you like."

He got so into it he lost track of time.

Feeling refreshed, Takumi went back to the game.
In the scene, the protagonist had just handcuffed Kitamoto Maya to a pipe in a warehouse.
Takumi paused the game, rubbed his temples—not from tiredness, but because a spark of inspiration hit him.
After a moment, he grabbed it.
"Hey, Devil's Mark… can I enter the world of Interact Play VR?"

Takumi stood and paced for a bit, then made up his mind.
"Illusion makes tons of these R18 games anyway. Losing access to just one isn't a big deal. Quality over quantity. I've decided—enter Interact Play VR and conquer Kitamoto Maya!"

The moment Takumi resolved himself, the Devil's Mark permanently burned 10 mana points and transported him into a single scene from Interact Play VR: the warehouse where Kitamoto Maya was being disciplined.
Maya was the game's third heroine and Aimi's close friend. She'd studied martial arts and, furious over what happened to Aimi, challenged the protagonist to get justice.
Needless to say, the overconfident karate girl had ended up like a prisoner—hands cuffed behind her back to a water pipe. No matter how amazing her skills, all she could do now was glare helplessly and wait for the inevitable humiliation.
