Linda slammed the CEO's door angrily.
"Linda?"
Hearing that voice made her tears rush faster, but she tried hard not to let them fall. Laurence saw it anyway. He quickly pulled her into the dressing room and held her face, shocked.
"What happened?"
Linda pressed her lips tightly and shook her head. "I'm fine."
"You aren't the Linda from last night," he said quietly. "And I think you need to learn a lot from her. You shouldn't be weak and wait for her to fight for you every time. Can you recall her memory?"
Linda pulled away and nodded. "I do."
"Your case is very rare," he said softly. "Most people don't remember their memories…"
"Ahhh, Linda!! Congratulations!!"
Megan rushed in happily, waving a white envelope.
"Look! This is a contract invitation from Mr Aaron's company. Madam managed to get you on their runway."
Linda froze. "Runway?"
Megan nodded excitedly. "That woman isn't as simple as we thought. She got you this contract after the competition."
