have you ever thought of how cool it would be to be able to fight dragons and what not, in you average anime setting,and been like i could beat those things up by using my brain if i was in his position "i WOuLd hAve cOme up wiTh a PLAn" and even though thinking that outright is just idiotic some still do, so to them, I ask the question: what anime creature are you genuinely beating?
After our beloved hero nagomo decided to venture east in hopes of finding food, he soon found himself of the outskirts of the green and lush plains which somehow connected to a thriving forest, and as nagomo continued onward a question beckoned his mind 'why were there a plains near a forest like this what caused this', but before he could try to think deeper about the issue,
nagomo saw a simple white rabbit its eyes blue like sapphire and as he stared into his eyes a faint yet chilling sense of fear came over him and before he knew it he was running, he didn't know why but he was running but he was and when he stopped he tried to compose himself but to no avail.
What am i doing, why did i run so far, where am I and why was that rabbit so familar.., Ahhh what am i doing getting so worked up i mean look at this place its bound to be full of food, i mean i dont see any animals but there should be some mushrooms or vegetables I can eat.
Just then, as if it was a bad dream nagomo saw it again, the rabbit with the blue eyes which were suddenly jaded with color. It seemed bigger. Its body moved towards him slower than before as if it was holding something in and the next thing he knew blood was everywhere, he didn't feel any pain but something was gone and the next thing he knew he was unconscious.
when i woke up i looked myself up and down, panick still in my veins i didn't know what happened all i could remember was seeing blood and passing out but even tough that was the case, i didn't feel any pain, i didn't seem to have taken any damage, but still i felt off as if something was gone but i couldn't seem to understand what.
as nagomo got up, he continued to explore the forest, even though his nerves were shot and he was starving, but just as he was about to consider jumping off a cliff and dying, he found a small cottage of sorts in his sights, even though it seemed worn out and uninhabited, it was his only shot at finally having some food so using the last remaining power he could muster he broke the door of the cottage and started rummaging for food, until he found an encyclopedia of animal and as he opened it he realised why the forest was always so quiet and why the cottage seemed to have been long worn out.

the lapis-eyed parasites
These beasts are something that shouldn't be able to live as even though they don't eat other animals their way of survival, is by ripping themselves apart and putting themselves into small animals via consumption. and then controlling the host by eating its memories to stay alive until it grows weak, where it will do anything to find a new host to put a part of themselves in. If you come into contact with these creatures all you can do is pray and hope that your will wont allow the parasite take control.
not much is known about these animals but all i can say is that if you see any rabbit with lapis eyes run …..
