Chapter 11 - School And Thoughts

School was… noisy.

Not loud in any particular way, just filled with voices, movement, and distractions. Children talked about everything without filters—games, heroes, rumors—but not the things I actually needed.

Ages weren't something you could just ask about.

At least, not without sounding strange.

I couldn't walk up to someone and ask how old Midoriya Izuku was, especially when he lived in a different prefecture. That would raise questions I didn't want to answer. Even asking directly about U.A. students made no sense at my age.

So I needed indirect methods.

Ways to confirm timelines without drawing attention.

As I sat in class, pretending to listen, my thoughts shifted to public figures.

Heroes.

Endeavor was an obvious choice.

He was famous, widely covered, and—more importantly—a family man. Articles about him often mentioned his children, their schools, and sometimes even their ages. If I could find approximate information about Todoroki Shoto, I could anchor his birth year and work backward.

That wouldn't be suspicious.

A child looking up the Number Two Hero was normal. Fan behavior, if anything.

The other option was the Yaoyorozu family.

They weren't heroes, but they were giants in multiple industries. Their name appeared in business articles, charity events, and public reports. Wealthy families tended to leave paper trails—interviews, profiles, mentions of heirs.

Looking up Yaoyorozu Momo wouldn't be strange either. Curiosity about rich families was common, especially among kids.

Both paths were clean.

Public. Accessible. Believable.

I didn't need exact birthdays. Just confirmation—within a year or two—of where my target generation stood. Once I had that, adjusting my own pace would be easy.

School bells rang, snapping me out of my thoughts.

For now, I listened, watched, and waited.

Information was everywhere.

You just had to know where to look.
