Lyra's POV
"He agreed to it," Ash said, his voice carrying an edge of disbelief. I gave him a quick nod, my pulse racing.
Ash made a low sound in his throat. My heart felt like it might explode from the tension building in my chest.
"So you want both of us?" Ash asked, his golden eyes searching mine. I nodded desperately, then let out a shaky breath.
"Please," I whispered, the word barely audible.
Ash nodded slowly, taking a deliberate step closer to me. My breath hitched as he reached out, his palm warm against my cheek. I couldn't look away from those brilliant gold eyes, made even more striking by the dark shadows beneath them.
"Thornevale is really okay with this?" he murmured against my skin. I nodded again.
His gaze dropped to my mouth, lingering there. I held my breath, willing him to close the distance between us.
"He's truly willing to share you?" Ash continued, his voice barely a whisper now. Another nod from me. He made that humming sound again.
