When the sun rose, Rocky and Alina woke up and began their usual routines. After about thirty minutes, Rocky flew up into the sky.
Meanwhile, Alina rode on her raven. Rocky had given her beast a regeneration pill to heal its wings. So for now, at least, her beast wasn't a chicken anymore.
Rocky caught the first bright smile on Alina's face when she saw her beast healthy again.
(Tch. An elf really is always gorgeous.)
He nodded and glanced around, searching for a proper place to land. More importantly, he wanted somewhere with people—so he could find allies.
To defeat the beasts, and even that mysterious being, he needed help.
Judging from what he saw in the valley, there were many beasts—which meant there had to be many masters too. He would gather with them, form a team, then decide the next move.
A good option, at least for now.
After a few hours of searching, the corner of Rocky's mouth curled up when he spotted a wide, open land. No monsters. No obvious danger.
