When they arrived at the grand hall, they found the king seated on his throne, trying to maintain his composure despite the clear concern on his face. In front of him stood the man who had been detained the day before.
The king said seriously, "Basil, Hamza, I would like to introduce you to Novich. He is a scientist and inventor who has served the kingdom for years, and he informed me that he detected unusual tremors last night."
Basil looked at Novich with curiosity and said, "Yes, I felt the tremor as well."
Novich stepped forward and explained seriously, "The device I use relies on detecting subtle seismic waves. Something is moving beneath the ground… something massive, approaching the kingdom. I cannot determine exactly what it is, but I am certain it poses an imminent danger."
Then Novich added in a pleading tone, "Please, Your Majesty, I need the special crates to repair the weapon that can repel this threat. Time is not on our side."
The king's face tightened, and signs of sadness and worry appeared on his expression. Then he said, "Novich, do not forget what happened 14 years ago. The inventions created by your uncle, Nikola Mask, caused the death of my family. I cannot risk another catastrophe."
Novich stepped closer, trying to persuade the king. "I understand your fear, Your Majesty. What happened was tragic, but if we do not act now, we may lose everything. This weapon is our only hope."
At that moment, the king placed his hand on his head and closed his eyes as a severe headache struck him.
The elderly advisor approached and gently held the king, saying quickly, "We must postpone this meeting. His Majesty needs to rest."
After the meeting ended, Ateen turned to one of the guards close to her, named Ria, and gave her direct orders, saying, "Ria, gather a team to investigate any traces that might indicate their presence."
Ria nodded and said, "Of course, Lady Ateen. I will begin immediately and gather the best female warriors from our tribe."
As Basil and Hamza were leaving the throne hall, Hamza said:
"We must understand what is happening and who those coming are."
Basil replied with concern, "I feel something bad is coming… we must be prepared."
As everyone left the hall, doubt and caution hung over their hearts, waiting for what the coming days would reveal.
