Tsukimi hovered into the air and looked at the pharaoh in a deranged look. Tsukimi raised a hand and snapped his fingers. The sandstorm was cancelled instantly. His eyes glew purple violently and the pharaoh faced him with his eyes glowing summer yellow. Tsukimi pulled out his daggers and their tips glew purple. The pharaoh raised his staff and the two charged at each other. They clashed in the sky and sparks of energy flew in all directions. The examinees started to flee in all directions but zombieman tanked all the attacks. Sakurasawa was now wondering if she made a mistake and Taro shouted in agreement. Taro pulled out another katana from a tear in space and it sparked and cracked with lightning." Don't you dare move from here you hear me Sora Fangline," said Taro with anger.
Taro started to collect mana as the lightning flew in all direction." Ronen! Aracnaline! Prepare for my attack!" ordered Taro.
Ronen and Aracnaline stood next to him as he maintained focus. Tsukimi and the pharaoh were clashing all over the place as shockwaves were making the entire floor to fall apart. Then Tsukimi put the pharaoh in a lock with half his body and the other half, attached by a line of lingering sand, hovered in front of the pharaoh and said," Hahaha, you call yourself a powerful pharaoh. You couldn't even scratch me."
" Time to drop the jokes," said the pharaoh as he started murmuring in ancient speech.
Tsukimi started to glow a scarlet red when he straight up beheaded the pharaoh. Then he absorbed the mummy's body and they became one. Then the scarlet color around him started to flicker on and off as he was struggling to maintain sanity. Then one of his eyes turned red and he faced the examinees. Zombieman ordered everyone to use their return stones, and like fireworks, they all disappeared. Tsukimi started a sandstorm that covered the floor. Taro was waiting for this. He took off flying with his sword still crackling with lightning. He hit Tsukimi in the fut but he had placed his daggers to block the strike." Let's see if you still got it master," said Tsukimi in a twisted voice as he conjured up bandages to hold Taro down.
Taro laughed and said," You are still centuries away from defeating me brother."
Taro span in with his lightning flying everywhere distracting Tsukimi and stabbed him in the head. He was then struck by lightning and fried to a crisp. Taro then cut up the bandages to multiple strips before grabbing the head and glaring at him. Tsukimi's red eye removed red energy as at the same time Taro opened his mouth widely like an anaconda eating up the red energy. Tsukimi then snapped out of it and looked at Taro on amazement." It happened again, didn't it?" asked Tsukimi.
" You can see for yourself my brother," answered Taro.
Tsukimi laughed as Taro hovered back down holding the head by his red hair. Aracnaline came to hold him worries sick about him. She held the head like a baby as zombieman came over and cut open his hand. Blood dripped from it and he let Tsukimi drink five drops exactly. Four for his limbs and one for his body. His entire body grew back and Taro pulled out his replacement for clothes from the sub-space. The floor system announced that in one minute they will be removed from the exam floor. Tsukimi was still dressing his upper body when he switched off. He passed out and Aracnaline caught him. Taro then ordered everyone to enter the sub-space. Against Aracnaline's wishes, she placed Tsukimi on the sandy ground and entered the portal. Zombieman smirked and entered the portal. Ronen got off his horse and bowed to Taro in acknowledgement of his superior in both power and skill before walking through the portal. Taro closed and sat next to his brother." This brings back memories," said Taro as he finally sheathed his katanas.
His black skin still a contrast to that sand as the two of them started to turn into digitized mana and disappearing. They appeared in the prior hall. Tsukimi still lay on the ground as Taro might as well have been smoking while seated next to him. Sakurasawa saw this and ran to Tsukimi's side. She placed his head on her lap and was about to use healing magic. Taro unsheathed his katana and put it under Sakurasawa's neck." How dumb are you to think it is okay to use healing magic on the dead?" Taro said with a look of seriousness.
Sakurasawa began to cry and said," But..
. But I ... I have to... apologize. This was all my fault."
" At least you know," said Taro as a crowd formed.
The crowd came with them murmurs. Some were apologetic for refusing to leave when the warning was issued, others were sad for their savior who risked everything for them while others celebrated his death. A smug idiot who did not even hide it. Taro moved in the blink of an eye and appeared before the idiot. His eyes glowing a navy blue." So he risked his life to save your cowardly ass and this is the way you pay him back. I can just behead you where you stand you know," Taro said with anger welliing up," Plus, he ain't gone."
Tsukimi mumbled as he woke up slowly." Huh, Sakurasawa? What are you doing here?" Tsukimi asked.
" You idiot, I thought you were dead," said Sakura in shock.
" I still have a mission so death is out of the question," said Tsukimi as he smiled.
Tsukimi noticed he was on her lap and had a pervy thought," Her thighs are quite soft."
Sakura being a vampire was reading his mind without knowing. She punched him in the head." Ouch, what was that about?" Tsukimi asked sitting upright.
" I can read your mind," said Sakura without knowing.
" Shit. Wait, what are you doing in my headspace?" Tsukimi asked.
" That's none of your business," she said.
" Whatever, I gotta go," Tsukimi said barely standing up," Taro, stand down. Time is almost up and you know I have plans."
" As you say my prince," said Taro as he helped Tsukimi to stand they left.
All people could do was watch as they walked out of the door. As they left the building, Tsukimi noticed malice following him and looked in that direction but there was nothing there. Taro also sensed it but there was nothing there. They continued on and hoped onto a taxi. The place they were looking at had a man standing there in a red cloak." It looks like my mirage magic can't hide me from their perception completely," he said as he used teleportation magic.
The vampire brothers appeared from behind him and said," It looks like 'they' are the one who tampered with the examination."
Sakura came looking for them and spotted them. She asked," So how did I do. Tell me I didn't lose that badly."
" Ahhh," the two said avoiding eye contact.
