Chapter 1 - chapter 1

"Introduce yourself!" Mrs. Bumi's voice cut through the room like a whistle.

I stepped forward, stomach in knots. My eyes scanned the class... and froze.

Everyone wasn't in uniforms they were in designer outfits. Shoes that looked like they cost more than my whole school fees. Jackets tailored to perfection. Hair, makeup... perfection.

Wait, isn't this supposed to be a school for everyone? Or should it just be called

"School for the Rich and Fabulous"?

A crumpled paper slammed into my shoulder.

"Are you lost, newbie?" a girl sneered, smirking like she owned the place. Laughter erupted around her.

Of course... why would they act normal?

Mrs. Bumi excused herself, leaving me to drown in my panic. I gripped my bag straps so hard, I felt like my hands might break.

"Heellooooo!" The girl called, waving dramatically as she circled me like a predator.

The bell rang. Everyone jumped up, chatting and shoving past each other, leaving me standing there. My name wasn't even confirmed.

She strutted closer, short skirt swaying, knee-high socks perfect, hair glossy, makeup flawless.

"This isn't your kind of school," she said, flicking her perfectly manicured nails at me. Then she turned and left.

Yep... today's officially a disaster.

I sank into a chair, watching the classroom empty. Except for one girl, quietly staring. I met her gaze she quickly looked away.

Am I... wearing the wrong uniform?

Summoning courage, I walked up.

"Your lipstick... it's smudged," she whispered.

"Oh..." I touched my lips, embarrassed.

"Bathroom?" I asked.

"Third floor," she muttered and disappeared.

I made my way to the bathroom, muttering under my breath:

But before I could reached there

already in the stairs case

Something smells... wrong.

Then SPLAT! Bright paint fell all over my head, dripping down my shoulders.

"Oops! Wrong person!" the same girl from class shouted, smirking as she walked away.

I froze bout to start a fight but what if I was expelled?.Expelled on my first day? Really?

I dashed into the bathroom in anger, staring at my reflection hair neon-paint disaster, clothes ruined. Desperate, I peeled off the soaked top and skirt, leaving only my singlet.

Just as I zipped off the skirt...

BAM!

The bathroom door swung open.

And someone was standing there.
