"It seems we can only stay in the study tonight."
Masata said it with a helpless tone, his voice carrying a faint sigh.
Fortunately, the study itself wasn't lacking in anything—except for an actual bed. Masata's study and cloakroom had been merged into one space. After all, he had already converted another room into a personal gym, so everything necessary for sleeping—bedding, pillows, and extra futons—was stored neatly here.
Yaoyorozu Momo still didn't move.
"…Hey."
Seeing no response, Masata sighed again and could only take matters into his own hands.
He opened the cabinet, pulled out two futons, and spread them simply across the floor. After that, he took out two pillows and placed them neatly on top. Just like that, tonight's sleeping arrangement was ready.
Masata kicked off his slippers first, stepped onto the soft futon, and sat down before pulling the quilt over himself.
"Ahhh~~ Sleeping is still the most comfortable thing in the world! To hell with studying."
He rolled over, adjusted himself into a more comfortable position, and only then noticed that Yaoyorozu was still standing in the same spot. He paused, slightly puzzled.
"Hurry up and go to sleep. You still have classes tomorrow, don't you?"
Seeing that his expression was exactly the same as usual—completely unchanged by what had just happened—Yaoyorozu Momo shot him an annoyed glare.
"This is all your fault! I don't even know how I'm supposed to face my aunt anymore!"
