Chapter 36 - Chapter 36 Secret

On the school playground, after George explained some practical experience to Mike, he let Mike, under the pressure of Aaron and Georgie, begin the confrontation training.

Afterward, in a great mood, he also prepared to do some light exercise on the playground.

Ever since Mike suggested that he maintain a moderate amount of exercise every day, George was still in a mode of working for two days and resting for three.

It indeed requires great willpower to change human habits in a short period.

Beside him, Missy looked at Mike, who was sweating profusely on the field, and felt that he was full of charm.

Even the little girl, out of love for him, developed a great interest in football.

So, after watching Mike train for a while longer, the little girl moved her short legs and caught up with George, who was "strenuously" running on the track.

"Dad— I want to learn football!" Missy shouted excitedly.

George stopped, wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, and looked at his little daughter in surprise.

Then, he shook his head and analyzed, "Missy, you are still too young for football. When you grow up a bit, I will teach you, okay?"

This was clearly the tone used to coax a child.

However, strictly speaking, children who are too young are indeed not suitable for football, a sport with intense physical contact.

In formal football games, injuries occur from time to time.

But Missy was still young and wouldn't understand any of this. She pouted cutely, "No, I just want to learn football."

"Okay, okay—" George couldn't win against his little daughter and could only change the subject, "How about I find a baseball later, and we practice throwing and catching?"

"I don't want baseball, I just want to learn football..." Missy pouted, continuing her cute offensive.

"Alright." George rolled his eyes and said, "Later, I'll find an football, and we'll practice passing and catching."

"That's great! I can play football just like Mike now!" Missy cheered.

George: Kids are so easy to fool.

On the other side, in Regina's villa, June laboriously carried four cocktails back.

Seeing this, Cady quickly went to help.

Soon, the cocktails were distributed among the three girls. June handed the most colorful cocktail in her hand to Cady and said, "This is your first time here, so I specially made this unique cocktail for you. I hope you like it."

"Thank you—" Cady took the glass, looked at the colorful liquid in the stemmed glass, and carefully sniffed it, worried, "There's no alcohol in this, is there?"

As a good girl, Cady was not yet of drinking age.

June found Cady's reaction very amusing. She revealed a mysterious smile, "Of course, you are still a child..."

Cady thought she had received her assurance and took a small sip from the glass.

Then, her mouth was filled with the taste of alcohol.

After coughing uncomfortably a few times, Cady looked at June who was smiling beside her, and asked uncertainly, "Are you sure there's no alcohol in this?"

June laughed aloud and continued her previous statement, "Of course, you are still a child, you should try more. Alcohol isn't a bad thing."

Well, now Cady discovered June's mischievous side.

Given this, the reason for Regina's peculiar personality also became clear.

Cady turned to look, and sure enough, the other three members of The Plastics also looked like they were enjoying a show.

They already knew the drink contained alcohol, and drinking was a very normal thing for them.

Having understood the truth, Cady didn't say much in the end, just silently placed the stemmed glass on the table.

On the other side, Regina didn't care about Cady's reaction: "Alright, Cady. I'll take you to my room to see something good—"

Compared to Cady's simple room, Regina's private room was also decorated in a girlish style.

Strings of sparkling star ornaments hung from the ceiling, making a crisp "ding, ding, ding" sound when the wind blew.

Moreover, there was a super eye-catching large wardrobe in the room, filled with various beautiful clothes arranged by style.

Just as Cady was dazzled, Regina pulled her to the desk and took out a notebook from a cubby.

"This contains my secrets. Do you want to see it?" Regina said with a fake smile.

Cady joined The Plastics precisely to uncover Regina's secrets and strike a blow against her.

With success now in sight, Cady naturally nodded in agreement.

"Very good—" Regina handed the notebook to Cady and continued, "If you choose to read it, you have to grant me one wish. A trade of one thing for another, a very fair deal."

Hearing Regina say this, Cady realized that she definitely had another scheme.

However, driven by curiosity, Cady ultimately opened the notebook.

What Cady didn't expect was that the notebook didn't contain Regina's personal secrets, but rather gossip about many people in the school.

Most of it was little secrets of twelfth grade girls, while another part marked the names of school teachers and some other prominent figures from different grades.

Cady even found Janis and Damian's names among them, and even saw the principal's full name.

Finally, when she turned to the last page, Cady was surprised to see Mike's name.

Mike: Orphan, shut-in, lecherous.

"What's going on..." Cady exclaimed in surprise, looking at the last page.

"Oh, I had someone inquire, and Mike's parents passed away a few years ago," Regina said as if showing off her ability, "And he's like other fat nerds, he likes to read comics. As for the last one, lecherous, I don't need to explain much, do I?"

Mike had been at the school for less than a month, and there were quite a few girls around him. Regina even subtly stared at Cady.

Cady also had some say in whether Mike was lecherous or not.

After Regina's explanation, Cady was indeed a little intimidated by her.

However, kind-hearted Cady still felt that Regina shouldn't specifically record so many people's little secrets.

If the contents of this notebook were leaked, it would probably cause a lot of trouble for many people in the school.

But Regina didn't think so. She snatched back the notebook and said in a joking tone, "Very good, you've seen the notebook. Now it's time to grant my little wish."

"This..." Cady hesitated, her attention still on the notebook.

"What, you haven't seen enough? Do you need to read it again?" Regina resumed her usual smile.

"No, no need." Cady declined.

"Good, now it's time for you to grant my wish..." Regina deliberately drew out her words.

After enjoying Cady's nervous expression, she then continued, "Please tell me a little secret about someone in the school, anyone's will do."

Upon hearing Regina's request, Cady first breathed a sigh of relief, and then felt that the request was actually quite excessive.

"Come on, just say anything," Regina urged, "Anyone's secret will do..."

At this point, Cady didn't know how to refuse. She recalled the assessment of Mike in the notebook just now; besides being an orphan, the other two were just guesses.

So, Cady, who thought she had found a solution, thought for a moment and said, "Our math teacher, Sharon, also acts reclusive in the office. I suspect she's using illegal substances..."

Cady had very good math grades in twelfth grade, so she was quite close to Ms. Sharon.

And using illegal substances, any normal person would know Cady was joking.

However, Regina very seriously took out her notebook and scribbled on it.
