Chapter 30 - Chapter 30 Exchange of Sealing Techniques

Takuno continued to lavish praise.

No one dislikes hearing compliments, and even Minato's smile seemed to grow wider at this moment.

"Alright, stop with the praises. The Third Hokage is already old; it's definitely time for him to retire," Kushina said directly, unable to stand it anymore.

If these two kept talking, who knows how long they would continue praising and deferring.

Immediately, both Minato and Takuno chuckled; it seemed only Kushina dared to speak of the Third Hokage in such a way.

Takuno looked at Minato. Although the other party probably didn't mind him calling him by his name, it should only be done in private. In public, he would still have to address him as Hokage-sama.

At work, one must address by title!

As for the Third Hokage, he didn't have many strong opinions about him. There were indeed many conspiracy theories, but he didn't need to discern the truth from falsehoods, as long as the other party didn't interfere with him.

Currently, it seemed to him that the Third Hokage was doing quite well; the mission rewards were given out generously.

Who wouldn't like an old leader who pays you quickly and checks in on you after you return from a mission?

"Hmm? Good tea," Minato tasted the tea at this moment, his eyes lighting up.

"If you like it, you can take some back when you leave. I brought back quite a lot from outside," Takuno said, as if chatting casually.

"Don't talk about all this other stuff. I brought a whole bunch of unfinished Sealing Jutsu to research!" Kushina wasn't interested in the tea; she pulled out a stack of scrolls and placed them on the table.

Instantly, both Kushina and Minato seemed to see Takuno's eyes light up.

The two exchanged a smile, realizing that someone obsessed with Sealing Jutsu had no resistance to such scrolls.

Takuno coughed twice, then picked up the scrolls and began to read them.

After a while, he forcibly tore his gaze away and looked at the idle Minato and Kushina, thinking it wouldn't be good to just let them wait.

After some thought, he also took out some of his research results and placed them in front of them.

"What is this?" Minato and Kushina were both a little surprised after looking at them.

"These are some Sealing Jutsu I developed based on the Fire Sealing Method. Currently, Earth Release and Water Release are still missing. Most of their attacks are physical, making them a bit difficult to seal with Sealing Jutsu," Takuno explained.

Minato and Kushina exchanged glances, both seeing surprise in the other's eyes. They had given Takuno unfinished research, but Takuno had given them complete Sealing Jutsu.

They weren't ones to take advantage, so after exchanging glances, they understood each other's thoughts.

Then, the two took the scrolls and looked at the dense text and various annotations, sighing in admiration once again.

The level of obsession with Sealing Jutsu displayed by the person before them was something they couldn't match.

These two scrolls were not completed jutsu, but rather recorded the entire research process, allowing one not only to use them but also to understand the fundamental principles of the Sealing Jutsu.

This would enable them to flexibly adapt and even enhance the power of these Sealing Jutsu in the future.

Thus, all three became engrossed in the scrolls in their hands.

When the three put down their scrolls, they exchanged glances, seeing the same desire for exploration in each other's eyes.

Then, Kushina finally understood why Minato had come home so late last time, leaving her alone in an empty room.

Such things were indeed quite engrossing.

They not only discussed the unfinished jutsu scrolls in Takuno's hands, inferring possibilities, but most of the conclusions they reached were ultimately ineffective, leading to abandoned Sealing Jutsu.

This was quite normal.

Later, the conversation also turned to the several sealing methods Takuno was researching, and Minato and Kushina offered their respective opinions on sealing Earth Release and Water Release attacks.

Takuno listened to their views, rapidly recording and simulating in his mind.

This clash of Sealing Jutsu knowledge had sparked so much inspiration in him that he truly wanted to seclude himself to research Sealing Jutsu this time.

Time passed by minute by minute, and when the three realized it, it was already late at night.

"If you don't mind, would you be okay with some instant noodles?" Takuno asked.

"They haven't expired, have they?" Kushina teased. Such a long discussion had brought them much closer.

"No, I just bought them last month," Takuno said with a yawn.

"Then we won't refuse," Minato also said. Even if they went back now, they wouldn't want to cook at this hour, and after discussing for so long without eating, they were indeed hungry.

"How's your cooking, Takuno-senpai? If it's not good, let Minato do it; he's a great cook," Kushina said with a smile.

Immediately, Minato gave a wry smile. Indeed, whenever he was home, he usually did the cooking.

"Don't worry. I'm not confident about other things, but when it comes to instant noodles, I'm quite confident," Takuno said with a raised eyebrow, very seriously.

Then, under the bewildered gaze of the two, Takuno walked into the kitchen.

"Senpai probably... eats instant noodles often," Minato said after thinking for a moment. Kushina nodded in agreement.

Soon, the three were holding their instant noodles, eating their fill.

Takuno sighed, realizing that no matter which world, eating too many instant noodles wasn't good, but having them occasionally was indeed delicious.

"Thank you for the meal, Senpai. Your instant noodles are truly amazing!" Minato said.

"Naturally," Takuno replied. This was his specialty from two lifetimes; it couldn't possibly be bad.

After speaking, the few of them exchanged glances and smiled.

Minato felt a little regretful. Such a discussion atmosphere was truly wonderful, but there probably wouldn't be another chance in the future.

Once he became the Fourth Hokage, he would have to take on a massive workload, leaving him virtually no time for such discussions.

Therefore, he had come with Kushina today.

"It's getting late, we should head back. These are gifts from us in return for your hospitality, Senpai," Minato said, taking out some scrolls and handing them to Takuno.

"How can I accept this?" Takuno's eyes lit up. As he spoke, he unceremoniously took the scrolls.

Seeing this, the Minato couple chuckled again, then departed.

After the two left, Takuno dropped his smile and looked at the contents of the scrolls. As expected, they contained complete Sealing Jutsu and learning insights, mostly barrier-type Sealing Jutsu.

Trading his research for these was certainly profitable. The research on things like the Fire Sealing Method was naturally for a public explanation.

You can't research for so long and have no results at all, can you?

Moreover, those Sealing Jutsu weren't useless; it was just that Takuno hadn't completed the final steps of his research yet.

Takuno pondered over these Sealing Jutsu, realizing that there was indeed no Four Symbols Seal. It was unlikely for them to hand over such a Sealing Jutsu so easily.

But given the personalities of these two, if he saved them and then accidentally revealed the Adamantine Sealing Chains...

He could not only obtain the Nine-Tails' Chakra but also very likely get the Four Symbols Seal, and gain their trust, making things much more convenient.

Takuno tapped on the table, weighing the gains and losses.
