Chapter 88 - Chapter 5: The Floor Boss’s Magic Stone

"Eh~ So you're all classmates?"

After chatting with Mei and the others for a while, Hestia learned about the origins of her new family members.

"If I had to say, Takatsuki is my teacher."

"A teacher, really? I thought he was about the same age as you?"

Mei smiled: "St. Freya Academy only has female students, and even the teachers are mostly female. Takatsuki is one of only two male teachers."

"I see. But which country is St. Freya Academy in? This is my first time hearing about it."

Although Hestia had been in the lower world for a short time and had been a freeloader at her close friend Hephaestus's house, she liked reading books, so she was quite knowledgeable about the history of the lower world.

"As for that, it's better to wait for Takatsuki to come back and tell you."

Bronya said from the side: "Bronya thinks it's not good to talk about that here."

"Is that so? But what did he and Fu Hua go to do? So much time has passed."

Hestia didn't think much of it, but checking the time, she had already been waiting here with Mei and the others for over an hour.

During this time, she had given Bell and Mei an overview of Orario, and although she didn't know much, she had read many books, so she knew more than the newcomers.

And Bell and Mei had also introduced themselves and gotten to know each other.

"They should be back soon, Kiana, don't sleep."

Mei also checked the time, then pushed the drowsy Kiana next to her with a slight headache.

"Alright, I'm not in a hurry or anything, I'm just worried that since you're new, it wouldn't be good if you got into any trouble. And you've traveled for a long time, so you must be tired."

The journey wasn't particularly long; it was just evening in their world before they came here. Although it was daytime in this world, the energy consumed was still consumed, and the time difference also needed to be adjusted.

Just then, a gasp and commotion came from outside the Guild.

"What's happening?"

Although the Adventurer's Guild was the place with the most adventurers after the Dungeon entrance, everyone usually behaved themselves in the Guild. Even if a few reckless adventurers occasionally tried to take advantage, they would ultimately gain nothing and might even be disciplined and thrown out by the security personnel in the most severe cases.

So causing a commotion was no different from seeking death.

"Let's go take a look too. Anyway, Takatsuki and the others aren't back yet."

The commotion was coming from outside the Guild. Hestia had already seen several staff members run out and suggested to the others.

"Bronya thinks it's fine."

As she spoke, Bronya poked Kiana hard, waking her from her sleep.

"What, what is it! Is it mealtime?"

Kiana jumped up and looked around, only to find that this seemed to be an unfamiliar place with many unfamiliar people. But upon seeing Mei and Bronya, she realized that she was no longer in her original world.

"Idiot Kiana, everyone is leaving, don't sleep."

"Idiot Bronya! I'm not an idiot!!"

After an unconvincing retort, the two still followed the others to the entrance and saw the source of the commotion.

"Wow! What a huge Magic Stone!"

Hestia's height was not tall compared to other tall adventurers, but even though her view was blocked by the crowd, she saw a huge Magic Stone, three people tall, slowly moving in the distance.

Giant Magic Stones were rare; a Magic Stone this large must have been dropped by a Floor Boss.

Generally, giant Magic Stones were inconvenient for adventurers to carry, so they would choose to break them and continue exploring. Few people would bring an entire Magic Stone back to the surface, so it was no wonder it attracted everyone's attention.

And the commotion was merely a large number of adventurers gathering to watch out of curiosity.

"Is that a Magic Stone? Is it really that big?"

Hearing Mei's words, Hestia quickly shook her head: "No, no, no. Generally, a monster's Magic Stone won't be larger than a fist. A Magic Stone this big must be a Floor Boss's Magic Stone, but it's also rare for someone to bring an entire Floor Boss's Magic Stone up."

"I wonder who brought it up? Could it be that person's Familia?"

When that person was mentioned, Hestia's face showed an unpleasant expression. If it was her, Hestia could already imagine how she would show off at the upcoming God's Assembly.

Then she quickly saw the Magic Stone pass through the crowd and come before her.

"Ahhh!!!"

Takatsuki, dragging the Magic Stone with one hand, looked at the few people in front of him: "Why did you all come to the entrance too? Wait a moment, I'm going to exchange this Magic Stone for money."

Fu Hua behind him also carried a large backpack, clearly having reaped a rich harvest.

"Oh, oh, okay…"

Staring blankly as Takatsuki and Fu Hua walked past, Hestia finally reacted and chased after them: "Wait! Where did you get such a large Magic Stone?!"

"From the Dungeon, of course."

"You just became adventurers and haven't…"

Hestia suddenly stopped speaking, realizing that Takatsuki and the others hadn't yet received her blessing. Although they had completed the Guild procedures, they weren't truly her Familia yet. If others noticed them, they might be stolen away.

Although she sometimes acted conceited, Hestia was well aware of her own capabilities.

"Mr. Takatsuki, what is this…?"

Eina looked in shock at the towering Magic Stone in front of her. Fortunately, the Guild hall was very spacious to accommodate adventurers of various races, otherwise such a large Magic Stone wouldn't fit.

"As you can see, it's from our recent adventure. Please help us exchange it, and then use this money to find us a house."

"Yes, yes…"

What kind of people are these?

Eina looked at Bell not far away; he was clearly stunned as well, and when he saw Eina's gaze, he returned a bewildered look.

After meeting and talking with Bell, Eina had developed a slight fondness for the innocent boy, like caring for her own younger brother. That's why she proactively invited Bell to be his adventurer advisor. As for Bell's later companions, she originally thought of helping them all out for Bell's sake, but was this person in front of her a bit too exaggerated?

On their very first day as adventurers, in less than two hours, they had killed a Floor Boss and returned?

With her experience, a Magic Stone this large could only be dropped by a Floor Boss.
