Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Feed Me

Li Fan looked at the woman speaking and felt she looked a bit familiar.

Then he thought for a moment and realized this was Karura.

Li Fan knew this was definitely the effect of the two hundred affection points.

That led Karura, who had no interaction with Li Fan before, to come over personally.

Although Karura had a high affection of two hundred for him...

Li Fan wasn't very familiar with her, so he just smiled and answered honestly:

"Not yet. I plan to eat after the fight."

Hearing this, Karura, who had been smiling with narrowed eyes, suddenly opened them.

Her willow-leaf eyebrows frowned slightly, and she walked quickly directly in front of Li Fan.

She handed the basket she had been holding to Li Fan.

Although Karura's tone was respectful and gentle, it carried a touch of firmness that allowed no refusal:

"How can that be? Not eating breakfast makes it easy to get sick. This is breakfast I made myself. If you don't mind, you can taste it."

Seeing this situation, Pakura involuntarily crossed her arms over her chest, accentuating her fullness, and said calmly:

"That's right, Li Fan. If you don't eat, how will you have the strength to spar?"

"My Lord, do you need me to feed you?"

Li Fan looked at the women around him, familiar or unfamiliar, all forcing him to eat in various ways. He could only nod helplessly.

"Great! Sister, you hold the lunch box. I will feed Lord Li Fan."

"Don't. I have hands and feet."

"Oh, Li Fan, having a top-tier beauty like Karura feed you personally isn't enough? Do you want me to feed you?"

Li Fan found that ever since Pakura's affection reached the fifty mark, her attitude toward him seemed much more casual.

She spoke very gently just yesterday.

But Li Fan felt this mode of interaction wasn't bad, like opposite-sex bros.

"This... alright. Then I'll trouble you, Karura. Feed me."

"What are you being polite for, Lord Li Fan? This is my honor."

Half an hour later, outside the main gate of the Sand Village.

Aoki frowned and looked at the gate, still not seeing the person he wanted to see.

Aoki became dissatisfied in his heart. This guy clearly agreed on the time for the spar.

But he had been waiting for more than half an hour, and this guy still hadn't come out. Was he deliberately putting on airs?

Just as Aoki continued to grumble internally, he suddenly felt something and looked toward the gate.

He saw a young man with black hair, looking in his twenties with gentle features, walking steadily in front.

Surrounding him were several beautiful women.

Seeing this, Aoki was puzzled. That kid Li Fan was always reticent.

Unless necessary, he stayed at home. When did he know so many female ninjas, and of such high quality?

But this doubt rose in his heart for less than half a second before he felt strange and reflected secretly:

"Strange. Although this kid always stays indoors, it's normal for him to know these female ninjas. What am I wondering about? Is my memory really starting to decline with age?"

Li Fan walked up to Aoki, glanced at the dozen or so ninjas gathered beside him—opportunists were never lacking at any time.

Then Li Fan reached out his hand first and said:

"Sorry, due to some reasons, I'm late."

Regardless of Aoki's inner thoughts, he hurriedly extended his rough right hand to shake Li Fan's hand tightly, his face full of hearty smiles:

"It doesn't matter. By the way, where do you plan to spar?"

Li Fan pointed ahead:

"There is a sand dune forty kilometers ahead of the village entrance. It's quite solid there, and it's relatively far from the village. Even if we make a big commotion, it won't affect the village."

"Moreover, the view is also very open. There are several petrified mountains. Standing on the mountains, one can see the details of our competition clearly. It's very suitable for everyone to watch together. What do you think?"

Hearing this, Aoki's eyes narrowed.

He instantly couldn't figure Li Fan out.

He actually deliberately chose a place suitable for everyone to watch.

Wasn't he afraid of losing miserably and losing face faster?

Although puzzled internally, Aoki showed no hesitation on his face. He laughed heartily and loudly:

"Of course! Then shall we go now?"

After saying this, Aoki made a "please" gesture forward.

The surrounding crowd felt surprised.

They never expected Jonin Aoki to be so particular about etiquette and demeanor. This gradually changed their internal view of Aoki.

Perhaps Aoki's brilliance was just suppressed by the brilliance of the Third Kazekage before?

Just like under the sun, no matter how brilliant a flame was, it couldn't compare with the sun.

But after the sun fell, the neglected brilliant flame became dazzling.

And now, with the sun fallen...

This flame, Aoki, was no longer mediocre as before, but began to emit raging fire?

Aoki felt the changing looks of the people around him and laughed secretly in his heart, feeling smug.

This was the optimal plan he had thought of all night.

It could show his magnanimity and his calmness.

It seemed his plan, thought out with great effort, was indeed correct!

"Hmph, hypocritical posturing!"

In a building not far away, Akatsuki, with her arms crossed, became dissatisfied instantly upon seeing Aoki's posturing and snorted coldly.

Beside Akatsuki, Karuman, who had just rushed over from Li Fan's side, wearing an eagle mask and having a voluptuous figure, heard this and nodded in agreement:

"Indeed disgusting. Don't know where that guy Aoki learned these things; it looks nondescript."

Hearing their words, the dozen or so Anbu members around them, neatly dressed in trench coats and wearing various colored masks...

Looked at each other and then tacitly remained silent.

"Let's go. They're moving. We follow behind them."

"Remember, if that guy Aoki shows any strange behavior, attack together immediately and subdue him on the spot!"

Ninjas were very fast, especially since the weakest among the people present were Chunin.

The distance of forty kilometers was covered in less than ten minutes.

Li Fan stood on the sunken desert ground, and Aoki stood opposite him, separated by a distance of one hundred meters.

Around them were sand dunes protruding dozens of meters high, mixed with sand and stone.

The sand dunes were full of people.

Besides the people brought by Li Fan and Aoki, and the obvious Anbu members...

There were also a large number of Chunin and Jonin familiar or unfamiliar to Li Fan.

These ninjas stood on the sand dunes, looking solemnly at the two below.

The many ninjas who chose to come here to watch the battle were well aware that the Third Kazekage had been mysteriously missing for a day and a half.

Under this premise, the winner among the two below would very likely become the Fourth Kazekage in the near future.

If viewed from the sky...

One would find that outside the sand dunes, there were a large number of dense black dots moving rapidly toward this side, numbering at least hundreds.

These black dots were Sand ninjas who learned the news in the morning due to various reasons and rushed over eagerly.

Aoki crossed his arms and felt the dense, complex gazes from the sand dunes above.

He felt exceptionally satisfied in his heart, then smiled at Li Fan:

"Shall we start?"

Li Fan also crossed his arms. The breeze blew gently over him.

Li Fan's black robe immediately fluttered in the wind, looking very stylish.

"Wait a little longer. There are still many people who haven't arrived."

Aoki laughed smugly and looked up slightly at the dense black shadows above:

"You are really confident. If you lose miserably later, I'm afraid the chance to serve as the Fifth Kazekage in twenty years will be gone too."

Li Fan raised his eyebrows slightly and laughed softly:

"Lord Aoki is so confident that you can win against me, and also feel that you can serve as Kazekage steadily for more than twenty years?"

"Shut up! You are too arrogant!"
