Chapter 52 - Ryuen Kakeru Arranges His Final Messages

He had truly made Ryunosuke his lifelong rival; if he couldn't defeat him, he would never feel at peace...

Ryuen clenched his fists tightly, grinding his teeth hard, but finally he was forced to release his grip and let out a long sigh.

"Haaah..."

"This time I really lost completely. Not only were my actions exploited by others for their gain, but aside from the 10 million personal points returned by Akasaka, the rest of the matters destroyed me without remainder. Even the homeroom teacher disappeared too..."

Ryuen recalled the despairing face of the homeroom teacher, and he could only click his tongue.

"So cruel! Akasaka, you made a teacher so disgraced that he was forced out of school."

"Ah, no, more precisely forced to resign..."

Ryuen shook his head, trying to stop thinking about it. The most important thing now was to settle his own affairs cleanly; he couldn't let Ryunosuke hurt his subordinates again.

He looked at all the Class C members who were now gathered there.

When the Class C students learned that Ryuen bore all the blame alone and became the main mastermind to save them from the threat of dropping out, they were very touched. They fully acknowledged him as their leader and were ready to follow all his orders.

This was what's called winning people's hearts.

Outwardly, they all had to state to outsiders that Ryuen threatened them to do that, and not a single one of them did it voluntarily.

Only by using this obviously false reason could the other six people be saved from the threat of expulsion. They would only receive point reduction penalties.

At most their class points would become zero, but as long as they still remained at school, that was enough. This was the only way and the only path of survival that Ryuen could think of.

As long as the other six people gave the same testimony—that it was a threat from Ryuen and not their own will—then this problem could be resolved.

Fortunately Ryunosuke was still kind enough to return those 10 million points, so they still had "provisions" to survive. If not, he didn't know how these students would survive after their class points became zero when he left later.

Ryuen was also very aware that the reason the opponent held back was most likely because of Hiyori.

That man's relationship with Hiyori was very unusual. To the point that he was willing to release 10 million personal points just so as not to put Hiyori in a difficult position.

"Heh~" Ryuen sneered softly.

"That kid... 80% likely he likes Shiina. But that's better; if I hand over the leader position to Shiina, he definitely won't attack that girl, right?"

"That way, Class C will be safe."

Ryuen breathed a sigh of relief after completing his "final message" affairs. At the same time, he handed over the Class C leader identity to Hiyori.

Not a single one of them felt objection. After all, their leader had done so much for them; consider this as fulfilling the leader's final wish before leaving.

Even Ibuki and Shiho who usually didn't get along with Hiyori, this time chose to keep quiet. They weren't stupid people; they knew that at times like this, internal division was forbidden.

This was their weakest time, so they couldn't fight individually like before anymore.

Seeing no one objected, Ryuen nodded satisfied. He then gave instructions to Albert and Ibuki.

"From now on, you two must help Shiina to strengthen her position as Class C leader. Do you hear?!"

"Yes! We understand."

The honest and naive Albert, along with Ibuki who was usually unreasonable and often defied Ryuen, both immediately accepted that order.

Their leader had sacrificed himself for them, how could they not obey?

Ryuen was worried that after he left, Hiyori wouldn't be able to control the situation. That's why he ordered Albert who was physically strong and Ibuki who had influence among female students to help her.

With the two of them, Hiyori's position should be guaranteed. After all, Hiyori's calm nature and dislike of conflict made it difficult to control the situation. Without absolute power supporting her, it would be difficult for her to lead these people.

Ryuen approached Hiyori, patted her shoulder heavily, and advised.

"While I'm gone, I entrust Class C to you."

Hiyori nodded softly, her eyes showing a bit of sadness. Although Ryuen was the type of person she hated most because he always used violence, at critical times like this, Ryuen was the most reliable person. The courage to sacrifice himself to save many other students made Hiyori, the literary girl, acknowledge that man as class leader.

Ryuen seemed to be able to guess what Hiyori was thinking. He grinned widely showing his white teeth, then said in a mocking tone.

"Don't worry, it's not like I won't return. Your king will sooner or later return to control you all again! Wait for my return, you naughty children!"

"OOOOOOOOOH!!!!"

All the students in class shouted loudly, as if welcoming the return of a new king. Although they didn't know how this "King" could return to school...

On the other side, Sakagami Kazuma was sulking while gulping down alcohol at a bar...

Currently, his appearance had completely changed into a depressed middle-aged man. His beard was messy, one of his socks wasn't worn, and many white hairs grew on his head; clearly he was very devastated by this incident.

Naturally; 5 years of salary gone deceived by people, plus the entire Class C he led was destroyed. Anyone wouldn't be able to withstand a blow like this.

Meanwhile, Class A's homeroom teacher (who technically would now become Class B), Mashima Tomoya, was also there. The reason both of them fell into this situation was thanks to one same person.

That's right, that person was Akasaka Ryunosuke.

However, Mashima didn't harbor great resentment toward that child. He even felt a bit impressed. After all, having talent and ability was different from someone who actually practiced it. There were many geniuses who had high talent but just stayed in place without wanting to act.

While geniuses who had ability and were willing to act were rare and valuable. That proved that child had ambition and strong desire to climb to Class A. Mashima really liked children like that.

Moreover, for years he held a position in Class A, his savings money was already very much until it couldn't be used up. He wasn't someone lacking money, so he didn't hate that child.

It's just that, he didn't expect that child would attack Class C, and his attack was so cruel that it didn't leave the slightest path of survival...

Mashima looked at this drastically changed Kazuma, and he felt a bit horrified.

That child was truly terrifying! He could actually make his colleague become this destroyed, truly scary...

Mashima drank his alcohol again, intending to accompany his coworker who would soon leave this school for a final drink.

Before long, the bar door opened. It was the new Class A homeroom teacher, Hoshinomiya Chie. She also came to see off Kazuma's departure.

Only the current Class D homeroom teacher (who would soon rise to Class C), Chabashira Sae, didn't come.

The main reason was because she indeed didn't want to come; the situation was very awkward. It was a student from her class who made Kazuma like this; she would definitely feel crazy if she dared show her face there.

Right now she wanted to hide as far as possible, how could she want to go to the "spearhead" and sprinkle salt on other people's wounds?

Thus, the three homeroom teachers gathered there, drinking together in silence.
