Chapter 2 - Chapter Two: The Goblin Nest

The dungeon smelled of damp earth and decay. Farhan stepped cautiously into the narrow cavern, every sense alert. His body, raw from the re-awakening, felt sharper than before. Every shadow, every echo, whispered potential danger.

Panels flickered into his vision—not intrusive HUDs, but precise, layered overlays:

> **Power Points: 0**

> **Tier: 0**

> **Elemental Affinity: Lightning / Space / Shadow / Life**

Farhan took a breath. This dungeon wasn't supposed to be dangerous—**F-Rank**, the lowest difficulty according to the System. But "easy" didn't mean safe.

A scuttling sound echoed along the walls. **Goblin Scouts** appeared, small and wiry, F-Rank. Their green eyes glowed faintly in the darkness. They hissed and charged in packs.

Farhan smiled faintly. "Let's see what you've got."

Lightning arced along his arm. Space twisted subtly around his movements. Shadow clung to the walls like liquid. Life surged, steadying his limbs.

The first scout lunged. Farhan's hand flicked—Lightning struck like a whip. The goblin collapsed.

> **Power Points +5**

A faint icon appeared in his system panel: a glowing "+" hovering over **Strength**. He touched it instinctively.

> **Strength +1**

He grinned. "Easy enough."

More scouts emerged, faster this time. He dodged, struck, and every kill fed more points. F-Rank goblins weren't challenging, but they were enough to make him **remember what it was like to fight**.

> **Power Points +10**

> **Agility +1**

> "Hmm… this is interesting," Farhan muttered to himself, examining the panels. Each point was measurable. Each point was a step toward mastery.

Deeper into the dungeon, the walls grew jagged. **Goblin Warriors**, E-Rank, blocked his path, armored and taller. Their teeth were sharp, eyes calculating. They weren't ordinary mobs—they would test him.

> **Power Points +20**

"Looks like the dungeon wants to see me sweat," Farhan murmured. His fingers traced the glowing "+" in the panel again.

> **Endurance +1**

He ducked a swing, countered with a lash of Lightning, and the shadows twisted, hiding his movement. Space bent around him for a split second, allowing a strike behind the goblin. Another kill.

> **Power Points +25**

> **Perception +1**

Then came the shamans. **Goblin Shamans, D-Rank**, chanting, their hands crackling with fire and poison. They advanced cautiously, trying to sense Farhan's potential.

He stepped forward, panels glowing faintly:

> **Power Points +35**

"Alright… time to test the system a little," he said, touching another "+" icon in his vision. **Will +1**

Lightning arced, mingling with shadows. Life surged, letting him dodge a poison bolt at the last second. The shamans screamed as their attacks were obliterated before they even landed.

Finally, the dungeon opened into a cavernous chamber. The ground shook. From the shadows, **the Goblin Boss** emerged. **C-Rank**, massive and jagged, with glowing red eyes and armor-like scales.

Farhan's heartbeat quickened. He could feel the dungeon shifting. Spikes erupted from the floor. Walls trembled. The dungeon was alive and aware.

> **Power Points +50**

He flexed his fingers. A glowing "+" appeared over **Strength, Agility, Endurance**. He tapped each one quickly, feeling the energy surge through him.

> **Strength +2**

> **Agility +2**

> **Endurance +2**

The boss growled, advancing. Farhan stood his ground, eyes focused. The dungeon trembled around him.

> *This is only the beginning.*

Lightning snapped across the chamber. Space warped subtly, shadows twisted along the edges, life pulsing to steady his movements. Every strike, every dodge, every kill was **data**, feeding him. The panels in his mind guided him—not with words, but with **raw numbers and potential**.

The Goblin Boss roared. Its claws slammed down, shaking the stone. Farhan grinned faintly.

> "Finally… someone worth my attention."

The dungeon waited. The real fight was about to begin.
