For Hera, corrupt Marines were more disgusting than pirates. Most people avoid pirates, but corrupt Marines use their shiny coats to lure people into seeking help, then crush their hopes of salvation. For Hera, there was no need for a trial for such scum; only death.
The argo was indeed a masterpiece of New Navy technology. The group soon reached the outskirts of Cocoyasi Village. From there, they could see the Arlong Pirates' base. Three odd-looking Fishmen were observing from that direction.
Nami recognized the three and said to Hera and the others: "Those three are members of the Arlong Pirates. The one with the sake bottle is Shioyaki, the banquet minister; he's a Salmon Fishman. The skinny one is Take, the party captain; he's a Carp Fishman. And the one with the Maracas is Pisharo, the musician of the Arlong Pirates."
Nami added: "They have eight Officers in total, plus a pet named Mohmoo."
Hera said: "Eight Officers? It's about to become five." She had already picked up the Hour Hand and minute hand, ready to fire.
Take wasn't panicked at all by the Marines' arrival, just a bit confused: "By right, it's not time for the Marines to collect protection money yet. Why are there Marines here again?"
Shioyaki took a sip of sake and said: "Is that Captain Nezumi here again? Boys, see what he's up to. If he's here for money, give him a piece of our mind. Does he really think we're afraid of him?"
Pisharo said blankly: "Pisharo can knock him down with one strike of his hammer."
As the warship approached, the shadows beneath their feet seemed to come alive. The three didn't notice this; they just looked up at the deck to see who had arrived.
Hera said: "This distance is perfect. Can't let the corpses go to waste."
With three gunshots, three jet-black energy bullets coated in Armament Haki pierced through their heads, leaving three bloody holes. The three who were hit didn't even have time to react. They only felt a chill, and their eyes suddenly felt heavy and wanted to close. It wasn't until they saw the blood beside them that they realized they were already dead.
After their bodies sank into the City of Devouring Time, the Grunt Soldiers who heard the gunshots realized that this Marine warship wasn't here for money; they were here to harvest the lives of these Fishmen.
Kuina was itching to try her wado ichimonji. The swordsman's blood engraved in her bones was calling to her. Just then, Hatchan, an Officer of the Arlong Pirates, rushed out. As an Octopus Fishman, Hatchan held a sword in each of his six hands, making him a 'Six Sword Style' swordsman that normal people couldn't match.
Kuina's eyes lit up at the sight of this opponent. Previously, the person she had fought with the most swords was Zoro's Three Sword Style. That happened after Zoro was defeated by Hera again and mocked: "Your mouth is tougher than your blades. Why don't you try biting a sword?"
Afterward, Zoro really did bite a sword and began using the Three Sword Style. However, Kuina could feel that Zoro was indeed a bit stronger using three swords. She had tried it too, but other than getting the hilt covered in saliva, she didn't feel anything special. Instead, it was worse than using one sword, and she was mocked mercilessly by Hera.
"Leave this swordsman to me. Let me see if his 'Six Sword Style' is actually researched or if he's just holding six swords."
Kuina gripped the wado ichimonji and charged forward.
"Be careful. Fishmen are very strong, especially Octopus Fishmen. Don't try to overpower him when he swings those six swords." In Hera's memory, Hatchan seemed to have caused a lot of trouble for Zoro a few years later, so she warned Kuina.
Kuina replied, "Don't worry. I've been training hard to keep up with your pace." Her confident voice echoed back to Hera.
Another Officer and Shipwright of the Arlong Pirates, Kinjō, also stepped out. Seeing this, Nami quickly warned: "Watch out for that blue Fishman, Chew. He's a Kissing Fishman who can spit out large amounts of water to attack. He has a bounty of 5.5 million Berries."
Seeing Hatchan and Kuina fighting, Chew knew the newcomers meant business. He immediately crouched down to suck in water, intending to attack Hera.
Hera looked disgusted: "How can someone spit during a fight? So gross." The black Hour Hand turned white, and a large amount of spatial energy gathered on the gun. "Lions Bullet!" As the white bullet left a trail in the air, Chew's neck was torn apart by the Lions Bullet, and his head fell to the ground.
Shadows pulled his body underground, and his head was preserved separately. Hera thought, "Heads with bounties are worth preserving. You can never have too much money."
Seeing Chew, a fellow Officer, get insta-killed, Kinjō immediately ran inside, wanting to inform their boss, Arlong. But Ain had already caught up to him.
"Since you've come out, stay here." Ain struck Kinjō with her palm, activating the Rewind-Rewind Fruit's power. Kinjō instantly found himself ten years younger. While he was in a daze, she struck again, this time using the Six Powers. "Shigan!" A large hole was pierced through Kinjō's chest, and he followed in Chew's footsteps to death.
