Before Caspian could say or do anything to break the what he thought was an awkward moment, the old butler ran off to notify his mother.
While he waited, he quickly put on some of the largest clothes he had in his closet; it seemed like someone had been updating his wardrobe even while he was in a coma...
Putting on simple black slacks and a black shirt with gold trim, he left it to the butler to announce his recovery.
He thought it was time to get used to this system and see what his current power looks like after everything.

The reason was that they granted anyone who lacked the affinity the ability to obtain it by simply crushing the gem.
People's affinity in this world is decided at birth. Some may be born with none, some with one and some geniuses might have two or more.
To pull off a skill that requires an element a person does not have would cause a backlash.
People with mana can only use spells that align with their elements.
And even if one did use a spell that did not match their element, the result would be like comparing a grenade to a missile.
To put into perspective how rare they are, the dragons who have hoarded their treasures over millions of years of civilisation have only found a handful.
Caspian, because of his hybrid nature, had his mother's fire, which comes from his royal lineage, and light, which comes from his angelic side.
But before he could ask the system to display his objectives to evolve and begin the path to power, the door opened again, and a woman stood there looking like a celestial from a fairytale.
Her lips were trembling, and her eyes showed a couple of tears that were threatening to spill out, but her next words shocked Caspian.
